I was talking to someone the other day about sale'n thier product...I told them sale it for alot of money and people buy it ......sometimes companys put a big price tag on things just because of the name behind it and not all ways is it a good product.....I bought a pair of gucci glasses for 250 dollars one time and they broke in a week.....the ones i buy out of the mall 2 for 10 last me all year and you cant tell them apart......I'm not supporting the bootleggers but all im saying sometimes good things come in cheap packages....:thelaw:

someone posted this on zilvia, and foudn out that the guy's brake calipers where eventually rubbing and possibly caused this

It could have been user error, didnt check with mounting the brakes, rotor warpage etc..

that could be effect just as easily as cause. once the wheels began to warp the clearance could have become an issue. i think that's much more likely than someone not realizing his calipers were hitting.

I wonder why they don't make anything bigger than 16"? Maybe because they will break on the first pot hole?

Sportmax (now known as XXR) is made by the same American company as Primax, TerraMax,  and Euromax, which is Ensure Wheel.
