lol omg im so stupid.


i was swappin wheels just right now, and after i got one side down i started lowering the car to check em out. but then it was weird since my pressures were droppin lower then i need them too, but the car was still high.

then i noticed my door was sitting on a wheel!!!! ahhh. i dented the lower part of my drivers side door.

its not as bad since the side skirts concave in at the exact same area so it looks lil matched. lol.

Yeah, stupid mistakes like that are the worst. Can't wait to see the new wheels on the car though!

I was taking my car off the stands so I jacked it up, removed them, put them to the side and started lowering the car via the diff.  I had to drop the car onto 2x8's b/c it sits too low to get the jack out.

The car was on the ground now, rear tires sitting on 2x8's and I jumped in to reverse the car off of the 2.8's.  Once I was off the blocks, I opened the door to move the 2x8's out of the way and slammed the door right into a jackstand!

I now have a little ding of a reminder to never leave the jackstands right next to the car.

i backed my Jaguar out of my garage and right into my Infiniti 
 
scuffed the corner of the bumper on the Jag and pushed in the fender on the Infiniti

haha man i do stuff like this all the time. trying to be super anal and careful with what im doing and end up making a silly mistake e.g. went to do the tyre pressures on my new Works, drove to the pertrol station, pulled up and did the 1st two wheels no problems, then on the 3rd one the metal valve thing slightly slipped out of my hand, didnt think anything of it, did the 4th wheel, then had another look and realised id scratched 2 scratches into the lips of the wheels like 15cm long near the valve stem!
 
Then i was trying to reverse out and some dude parked real close and i pretty much had nowhere to go and was pissed about scratching my rims, and i backed up and bumped into some guy's bunky FC RX-7 that was behind me but so low down at the front i didnt see it! so i scratched my rear bumper with his rego plate, he got no damage! :P

ive done worse, but im sorry to hear that!   i forgot to put my parking brake on my last car on a steep road with a stick shift car   :sad:

Bummer. I've nearly done that a couple times.

I've scratched a couple of cars pulling to the paint booth at my old shop because it's soooo packed. Sucks having to prep a whole quarter panel right as the car is going in for paint =(

When I pulled my own car out my garage to bring it to the shop, I ran over a trim piece I'd left on the floor and I think that's when I damaged one of my JDM corner lamps =(  I had to steal a trim piece from my mom's Protege, and order a brand new one from Mazda!

That was as bad as when I couldn't figure out how to get my jack under the car when I have air :pat:
