SG Meet and cruise

Ok SG guys i know we talked about this before and since SEMA and the VIP fest are over I think it would cool to get this going.  So lets start throwing out ideas.  I liked the idea of meeting up and cruising old town/colorado.

setup the day, time, and location.

I was looking at the weekend of December 6th or 7th.  That gives us some time to make sure everyone is back from the Thanksgiving holiday.  My work which is located in San Gabriel has a large parking lot we could meet up in for anyone that is local.  We can then meet up with everyone else somewhere along colorado.  Now if anyone else has any ideas on where we can go from there please through out suggestions.  Im new to this set up a meet thing.

we should cruise to baccalis for dinner. lolz! thats good eatin.. or noodleworld.. but it hasnt been the same since they moved.

theres a big clublexus meet on the 7th of december ... and im attending that one.
i think it's better when meets are on saturdays.

Baccalis would be dope but they have a small parking lot and we might get assed out having to park down the side street :saiyancrunks: hahahahaha maybe an afternoon cruise with dim sum? hahahahaha:giggity: :shrug:

Id like to try to get as many people to go so id like to find a date that works with almost everyone.  Plus its not a party with out SikNLow.  By the way nice to meet you at autofashion.

^^^^haha no i didnt join in but was laughing my ass off.  i was the white boy with glasses and the dc hat. we chated at the beginning of the meet.

everything is best in OC only because we are the most centralized for all vip enthusiast. im just sayin itll be easier to get more support and involvement if it were somewhere in OC.

Well i guess we can set up a beginning of winter socal vsc meet if thats what people want to do.  I was just trying to set up a quick meet and cruise for local guys.

Well I say for this meet lets stick with a Saturday cause I have to go out that night anyway and it's easier for me if I wasn't hung over the next morning! :biggthumpup:

I'd say it would even be kool if we just met at PCC or something as long as the speed bumps aren't too big then decide where to go. 

Or there is always a night meet at AU79 or something.
I'd like to see a night meet with some rolling shots of our cars!!

I could set up a club meet at my friends club if you guys are interested!
They have a huge parking lot and it perfect for a meet like this, but there would be drinking and girls and I don't know if you guys are old enough for that! :smiley-rofl::smiley-rofl:

I'll take a drive down Colorado and try to figure out a route and see what you guys think.

We all meet up at Starbucks off the 10 fwy and Flair drive at the Flair Plaza! Once we are all there we drive to Mixbowl on Indian Hill off the 10 fwy. They have ample parking, some bomb thai food, and awesome boba drinks hahahahahaha. 
 
Everyone will be required to meet at the Flair Plaza since the point is the cruise and then lunch/meet. My 2¢ and suggestions.... :shrug:

The original talk was a meet somewhere in San Gabriel/ Arcadia/ Pasadena and cruise down old Town Pasadena

I like the idea of Thai food though!

I think your idea is perfect.  Since I go to PCC i know for a fact there are no speed bumps but we cant park anywhere in old town cus all the lots there have retarded speed bumps well except paseo.  We could park there and then go crash the yard house.  :shrug: Im gona be on colorado tonight so ill drive around and see what we can use.

As far as I remember both the meet up spot in Rosemead and the destination spot in Pomona, are both a part of the SGV... at least that's what every county map says and every other official paperwork that mentions Pomona and Rosemead...

Im always down. Like I said before...

Lets cruise Colorado in old town pasadena.

We can meet @ THE HAT (valley/garfield) to eat

Then cruise up Los Robles to Colorado and do a drive down old town. 

Los Robles is a chill ride up the pass to pasadena. Single Lane, residential area. There is a little turn off for slower cars, depends on our number we can stop there for a quick shot of our cars behind eachother...unless we can get someone to drive up ahead of us and take rolling shots.

We can even do some parking garage shots on the roof of any of the lowered car friendly garages in the SGV. 

Just not sure what day works for eveyone.

Pls, I LOVE pho, but after the last Pho place we went to, im iffy. 

We could do Noodle Planet, always been good there...but parking...PLEASE.

Yeah that place sucked, the service was horrible, prices were high for the amount that they served, and the food was mediocre.

I think Noodle planet is a good idea!!

If your talking about what my idea was, it's called Dream in Rowland Heights.

Azusa and Gale are the cross streets, across from supirior Nissan and that ford dealerships.

it has a huge "lower car friendly" parking lot that would be perfect for a meet and we can set something up with the owners to host an event or just to get us discounts on drinks and food. 

Just an Idea, if anyone wants to do something like that just let me know.

Well so the club thing is out for now, unless they have a 18+ night then I'll let everyone know about it. 
They do a 18+ night every once in a while so I'll just get us some discounts for the people on that show up or something. 

As for this cruise:

It was just me and Jeremy(EvilRB). We both had previous engagements so we just had coffee and talked cars.  It was pretty chill but we where talking about making this a monthly meet for us local guys.  More people need to commit next time though.

i would say make it monthly it would be better for the 626 people to come out and maybe meet up at a place where it has food too? i know forsure the rosemead plaza is no good.... cars wont make it up the bumps unless you enter from the small street.

im always down, but it was fight night. couldnt ignore it.

There's a meet everyday at Tenju Tea House in temple city on rose mead and temple city. wide open parking lot and vip friendly driveway. It is some of our forum members and club lexus members daily hang out spot. I dont want to make it sounds so much like a meet, but for sure if any of you guys roll through at anytime of the day in that plaza, you will at least find one or two vip cars there guarantee. even at 3 - 4am sometimes we're still there hahahahahahaha lets get together guys . .

Last time only me and evil where there, but its a cool spot.  The first meets are never the best we have to workout the kinks.  Thats why we want all the locals to come and help make it a great meet.

No problem, I'll try to get some of the "eastern SGV" cars to show up... we usually have a decent turnout at the Wed. night meets, hopefully some of those guys would be down to cruise out to Alhambra.
