Curtain color.
So, I just picked up a Y33 yesterday, and I was looking at curtains. The car is Espresso pearl, and the interior is tan. Should I do beige, or black? The door panels are two tone, so I was thinking the black would look okay, but you guys have the experience. I'm obviously new at this.

Tan or black. Black curtains with tan interior is not bad at all if you have other black accents like fusa, kurotuna, pillows, and what not. But save your money for the bigger stuff like sus. or wheels.
A penny saved is a penny earned. lol

hey bro, i just got my GS300 and it was black interior, and i went ahead and bought curtains right away! it was pretty worth it to me, because it makes the car look so much more luxurious, but after that i think you should listen to the moderators and save up for suspension and wheels, curtains are bad-ass

Jus remember, curtains aren't and don't make your car "VIP/VIPstyle" it's jus another one of them flashy items that catches peoples attention cause they aint never seen that.
I heard that most of the guys in Japan don't even rock it and are against it.
oh black............

I want to do curtains, then wheels. I love the look. Obviously wheels are going to have a bigger impact visually, but they are WAY more expensive. I know the curtains aren't a make or brake thing, but they do add a little somethin somethin.

Black is common, b/c I hear its hard to match up the tan. I wouldnt do it personally... buying curtains before getting wheels is like putting new laces in old shoes. Why spend $200 on curtains when you could get a set of MMR for $800-$1000 later.

trust what ppl are telling you and take care of the important mods (wheels and suspension) first. aint s**t cool about a off road, stock wheeled car no matter how many curtains, knots, and pillows you have. you'll just be another fanboy who though vip was curtains and stretched tires.

i guess listening to the others is right, but do what you want. people build in different ways and at a different pace. then again everyone is just making sure there isnt another fanboy out there.
but i have the same car and color and im planning on getting tan or biege. reason, everyone says the black fades. ive read that the black even fades with the stock tint in which i also have. so to spend that much money on curtains and have them fade in one summer would suck...who wants that nasty purple color the sun gives a black cloth.
