looking for info on GS300

Looking to pick up a GS300 and was hoping someone on here had a good buyers guide.  I'm a Nissan fanboy at heart, but I really like the Toyota luxury cars.  I'm basically looking for a good year by year comparison (98+), as well as any of your personal thoughts on trouble areas to check or things that might commonly be broken.  I've found several in the 60-70,000 mile range in my area (NW OH) and hope to get one here soon.  Thanks for your time!

Also, any other recommendations for true VIP style cars would be great, my budget is ~$12k.  (saw in another recent thread the LS is also a good choice, but im not 100% sure on if those are really my style)

Try to find an +01. Better tail lights, headlights, steering wheel, gauge cluster surround, definitely comes with the power assisted brakes (some 98/99 don't).
