i did some research when i was looking to buy coilovers for my 93 LS400 and i don't think UCF10 and 20's are interchangeable but i could be wrong
the reason is because each company actually offers UCF10/11 (89-94) and UCF20/21 (95-00) seperately
i'm running the JIC and i have no complaints. Stiff but not back breaking
hope this helps

oh crap....
well i just won my coilovers the other night. on the box of the coilovers is
sf1 ucf10/20 16k/8k
hopefully its interchangeable. i will find out and it can help others later on.
btw what was your spring rates??? i hope that 16k/8k isnt too stiff for the ls. but if that spring rate was on my civic it would kill.

you can use ucf10 coilovers on ucf20's but not the other way around. the ucf20's have longer struts than 10's so if you put 20 springs/struts on a 10 the ride will be rough and the struts will blow frequently. but if you put the 10's on a 20 then you will just end up being lower than planned..... so there you go
