VIP TRN260 ?

So I recently traded the Y33 for a TRN260 (yes, I'm going to make you look it up since everyone here loves chassis codes) and wondering if any cool ideas to add VIP style.

why not just supercharge or put a rear mount turbo and make it a drag truck?

No, just seeing what kind of rise it would get. Will be saving for a UCF30 in the future but didnt fit in thr Y33 so this is my driver until I find another VIP platform later.

Ah, that Tacoma. I hate that shit. My dad has one, slow as hell & there's no room. Thats my opinion, but if i was to fix one up. Hmm, My pops got a white one, i'd probably slam that ish and throw on some work EQUIPS or DH's lol

Mine's a prerunner and they dont lower well, if it was a standard 2wd I'd have it on the ground. The 05+ has tons of room, even in the standard cab - with the seat all the way back I have to use my toes to push the clutch in all the way & I'm 6'3". Besides, try this with a bagged UCF, and no, this isnt a photoshop...

i think they have a 2/3 static drop kit for the 05+ prerunners. other than that it's all custom..

i still vote for a single cab x runner!

last time i posted about my 06 single cab taco on here, i got a lot of hell about it. i'm working on dropping mine and putting VIS Racing's Techno R kit on and doing a roll pan and stretching the wheel wells or just molding some flares on. i'm a mini trucker w/ a VIP heart. i'd love to have a VIP platform myself, but just can't afford it right now. come join [URL="http://www.customtacos.com"]www.customtacos.com[/URL] it's a nice site and it's only about 1 type of vehicle. i'd definitely like to get the WORK Eurolines in 20s (that's about all i'd try to turn w/ a 4 cyl engine) i like the one that the guy w/ that gray 240 has. you know, the black w/ the chrome lip. yeah, that one. but i'd like it all black since i'm going for a blackout look w/ mine

Already a member of that board - same screen name - thats definitely more of the lowered truck crowd, nothing wrong with that but since i'm in the lifted truck industry I'm more used to TTORA.com and the like. I cant see dropping a factory lifted prerunner truck, its just something to hold me over until the economy picks up & I can afford a UCF30UL

right on bro. i hear ya. you make a good point about trucks w/ a factory lift. mine's small, 2wd, and already low. i might as well go lower though.

Lowering a prerunner is like lifting a sports car.... it was purpose built and doesnt make sense. On a standard 5lug Tacoma it could easily go either way
