Well, how it works with me is I raise my car to my typical "ride" height and then take it in to have my toe adjusted (adjusting camber won't do much for you). Toe is the most important variable in tire wear IMO. Your alignment will never be 100%, but it'll be close enough.

if i keep messin with the height, will toe change?
other than wear problems, what does a straight toe do for the car.

IIRC once you have aligned your car at a certain height for toe, it will remain constant. Keep in mind you want your car at that
exact height for the perfect toe setting.
Toe is mainly for tire wear for our kind of driving. Of course on performance vehicles, changing your toe will effect different handling characteristics at the track.

Just go at your regular height and ask for a lifetime alignment.

I have lifetime alignment at Firestone. The guy by my house loves my car so he doesn't seem to mind that I come in every month or two to change my settings. I just air up to get on the rack, set the memorized ride height and let them go to work, then raise it back up so they can get it off.

It's on Ball Rd. Even when I was on coilovers before I went to a lot of different Firestones and they didn't mind as long as they could get it on the rack.
