postin up te rims and lookin for some thoughts...

Hey everyone well I got two of my four wheels in so far and couldn't help but to do a little test fitnow they will not have as much gap as they do in the pictures but until i get some tires and have the weather to do a test fit this is the best I can do. I won't be putting them on until the spring when I feel I can safely drive without risk them on the wonderful new england roads I have to drive on.
 
And propper thanks is all to Agi or Widebody_Q, thank you so much for these I cant wait til spring. Looking into a kit, I really like the Kbreak kit, and atleast some lowering springs maybe coilovers air will have to wait a while.
 
Now for my question I will be rolling my fenders or having a friend that has done some good work on other cars roll mine. but I am thinking about flaring my fenders a little bit not to much and nothing thats gonna make my fenders really big. but if I could find a shop to have them flared out just a bit I think that would look great. So I wanted to know how you all feel about flaring fenders and if anyone knows of a good shop in or around boston that I could get this done at. 
 
And once again thank you for all of the input and advice you can all lend.

nice wheels.. but i don't think you should start rolling your fenders yet without your tires and suspension set up.  and from the pictures rolling your fenders dont look that necessary.  nice pit btw

^^ +1 your going to need to load the weight of the car on it aswell . 
 
Nice to see more F50s on the board

you wont need a pull or anything, maybe just hammer up the lip of the fender.
that rear will camber in when you lower it

hey i did miss your post and thanks dont know if im going to hammer my fender lip i was planning on rolling it a friend of mine has a fender roller and has done good work on some friends cars.

you have to hammer the lip up before you roll.....

Oh, I didn't know that, I wont be doing this myself my friends gonna do it so I don't know all the steps needed, I wouldn't mind learning though so maybe I'll try to watch or even try to do one with his help

vivid touch  in malden ma does all my paintwork/bodywork. a bit pricey but worth every penny. if i bring u down there they should hook u up though.

Update on the rims I finally ordered my tires and will post up pics once I can of them installed I wont be keeping them on until its warmer though cuz of the salt and crappy winter roads up here in mass.
 
And vollkgt7 I might get in touch with you this summer or spring about some paint and body work I am looking into possibly getting a k-break kit and maybe one or two other things. I might just try to come up and see your car VIP just isnt big up here for us, looks like your car is looking pretty good.

Did you end up going for Insurance coilovers?

No i tried to get in on it but price went up by the time I had the money. Now my girl is complaining, so I'm goin on a cruise over my spring break try to spend as little as possible so I can get som mods after.but i paid for the tires and I think I will be getting coilovers and the K-break kit hopefully before summers over. Maybe if I can save up enough I'll go air or even get some other JDM goodies. I got big plans and I'm in the process of some interior stuff as well but I have a lot of stuff that I'm gonna be workin on as I get the money. Also I might be selling my ZX6R and getting a CBR1000RR before summer so I got a lot of things my money is being spent on. I will keep all posted. 
 
And when I first looked at the group thread I read Buddyclub and got confused so I hesitated .... its all coming together slowly but surely hope you got in on them.

Yep the group buy was a bit confusing.  I wish I had jumped in when the price was low.  I just bought some wheels so I am going to have to make a decision on suspension pretty soon.

Your Walds look really nice!  They are a very classy wheel.  K Break would be rad :)  If funds allow I'd love to go JDS on mine.

ya that'll look good to I dont know if im gonna go body kit or suspension first cuz I would love to go air but that'll put off the kit for a while cuz air for our rides is so expensive. And I know most people on here are going to say sus. first then get a kit but I would love to change the stock bumpers out cuz I think just about every kit out for the F50 looks beter than the stock bumpers. But droppin a car is such a huge improvement I'll try to figgure it out. I just dropped 1300 on a cruise for me and my girl. so I'll have a good spring break then I'll be back to spendin on the car or bike but the car will be very different by the time summer rolls around

I hear ya.  I really want to go on a trip as well and get out of town.  Its always challenging allocating funds around to do the things you want.

Too bad F50 suspension is so damn pricey.  No cheap coilovers options.  I definitely would say get suspension before a kit though!

ya i think you and almost everyone on here is goin to say sus first we'll see what happens for now I am waitin on the tires to get in and then I'm gonna mount them up and post pics of them on the car then I'll have the cruise to think about the sus bodykit and other stuff

paint the inside black XD   nah actualyl theydont look like the right wheels to do that.  they look great as they are.

wow bippu that was quick I think you looked and posted before i finished loading all the images and thanks I think they look great and I like the little stretched tire look I got going. And as far as the car everyone is saying something some of my friends I don't see every day thought I got a new car since they last saw me and all I did was chuckle

Small world, my F50 is the same model/color and I'm also going to be running Wald's except I got the original Duchalet's in 19x10 f/r. If its going to be a while before you drop big $$ on coils/bags I'd recommend running a cheaper (>$400) drop spring in the meantime. It will look 100x better.
