hmm this shit is pretty insane for a cressida. what kit is that? and i think what would set this car off is some nice deep dish wheels

Your cressida looks awesome.
the only change i would make is the front bumper. too many holes, too sporty.
fill it up all nice and stuff and it would make your cressy a nice all round vip styled car.

Thanks everyone.  The kit is made by a company out of Canada called Serial Nine.  I know the front bumper isn't exactly vip style but I'm not exactly going for vip style.  I drift the car sometimes so it's geared more toward that.  I guess you can call it drift style with vip influence.  The trim area on the front bumper is getting painted black to match the rest of the car and turn signals will be in soon.  Actually the looks of the car are the last thing I worked on.  Here's a couple of pics to give you a better picture of the car overall:

nice.....i was thinkin about one of these cars th other day.....dont see to many of them fixed up.... and the 5 speed is rare i like what you did with the engine

man. thats a bad as cressida. i was looking for one for a while but never jumped into it. tempting...

Went out with my brother (he pretty much built my car) today and got a few pics with better lighting.  His is built more for the track. 400hp/400tq but it looks like shit, for now. 
BTW, manual trans wasn't available for this model Cressida.

They literally came in a week ago.  The first batch was pre-order only.  I know that more are being made and they will be in next year.  Contact Gerard at serialnine.com

lol seem like  you falling in love in cressy after seeing this one jk. Yeah a lot of people wanna fix this up but  limited on parts or too expensive. Hopefully Serial Nine gonna produce more parts for this car.

DAMN!!!:pat:I knew i should've gone with the 5-spd Cressida trade.Like the ride.

My paint guy wet sanded and buffed the whole car tonight.  The fitment of the kit is excellent.  Much better than origin imo.  I didn't have to do any work to make it fit.  Thanks again for all your comments.

NICE!  it looks like the BN Sports kit that they have for the x81 Chaser/Cresta/Mark II.
 
I was always more of a fan of the BIG*WIN kits for that chassis but that kit looks nice still.

I have had this Cressida for about 10 months.  I moved to Portland in September so yeah I used to drive it around in WA.  I have a photoshoot coming up and I'll be sure to post the pics here.  Thanks again for the comments.

Thanks all!  I have mkIII Supra LSD.  I went driving around with some Cressida guys in Seattle the other night. All of us drift our cars but no drift events in the winter. Nothing special, it was just nice out.  All of us have 1jz from JZX90 Chaser so it was really fun.

I'm running a soarer ecu. The wiring is pretty easy for the x90 motor. I guess it really depends on how comfortable you are cutting out 3/4 of the harness and throwing it away.

YAH THAT WAS PROBABLY ME.  HAHA DID YOU CAR USED TO BE BROWN?  I REMEMBER SEEING A BROWN ONE ROLLING ON 520 WITH NO FRONT BUMPER A WHILE AGO.. AND I THOUGHT THAT WAS SICK THEN..

what about  suspension...who make coilovers for cressida...? is there a forums for cressida for more reseach

My coilovers were custom made by JIC. To get these you have to pre-pay $2200, send them your stock spindles and wait 6 months.

Since I did that a few new options have come up.

serialnine.com makes a kit using Stance coilovers from S13

megan racing makes a cheaper option and you can find them on ebay

With either of those you have to cut your stock strut tubes and weld on the new stuff.  If you own a Cressida you should expect that you have to make your own parts.  There is basically no support for this car, that's why not many 
even attempt to build one.  Not to mention that they only come automatic and almost always have a blown head gasket.

Looks nice! the front bumper loooks ten times better with the painted molds and the turns! It sure would look cool with a big ass intercooler though

i'm on JZXProject from back when i was thinking on picking it up, wish there was a little more VIP influence on some o fthe cars there just because the cressida looks GREAT when slammed with properly fitting wheels.

My Uncle had a Cressida he sold a few years back.. Love what you're doing with it. Looks way better not that the front is touched up. Really should get an intercooler and some rims with a lip.

TYTE, my parents used to have a 91 Cressida - pearl w/ silver side moldings. If my memory serves me correct those were the LEXUS prototype here in the states. I always liked the Cressida and the OG ES250 You've done well. Keep the community posted.

Definately gives me ideas for 87 Cressida. I wonder if I could adapt that body kit to my car.

wow thanks for the replies. I haven't been here in a while sorry. The wheels are 18x8 +26 225/40/18 and 18x9 +33 235/40/18. I had the car up for sale but I decided to keep it. New wheels and more coming soon.
