what tire size for a 18x8 fr and 18x9.5 rear

i want a slight stretch but nothing crazy so im not sure what tire size to go with. what would you guys recommend for a slight stretch?  i was thinking of doing a 225 front and 245 rear. would those work?

sounds good, you could even go down one size front and rear with no problems. i dont know what type of clearance u need though

225 is definitely not a stretch on an 8" wheel. Ditto for 245 on 9.5

Put a 205 on the 8", and a 225 on the 9.5" and you'll have a mild stretch.

on my 9.5 i have 235/35 conservative stretch. 225/ might be more aggressive than u think

Yeah, I s'pose it's more than mild at that point. I concur with 235.

215/40/18 is nice and moderate on the 8 for me. but then again it really depends on the tire brand because they each have different wall thicknesses

im not sure how far i wanna stretch the tire because i cant afford togo super low right now. i can only afford springs and its going to be a 1.2 in drop front and rear on  a c230 sports sedan. i think 215/235 will work nicely

the wheels i decided to go with at 18x8 and 18x9.... gunna go with 215 and 235 but what sidewall height would be appropriate?

215/35 is pretty good too, but I'm assuming this is going to be a mild looking setup, so maybe a little extra sidewall wouldn't be bad for looks.

its going on a 2005 c230 sports sedan. im going to lower it on springs. and the drop will be 1.3 fr and 1.5 rear. so nothing to crazy.

235/35 all around. DONE
