Hi guys! 93 Toyota Aristo...RHD.

I posted an introduction earlier and I don't know where it ended up. I've been doing the car thing for over 15yrs and I have grown up. I am going to buy a Honda Odessey (family van=)) and plan to add VIP styling.
 
But I was approached by a customer to complete a 93 Aristo RHD from Japan?
 
After talking with him this weekend I feel the mods may be kept to a minimum...or at least less than I expected. Time will tell...we'll see.
 
I am new to this style of automotive stlying, but plan on executing it perfectly, so I came here for knowledge.
 
I have lots of experience with air ride and paint, so I may chime in to help from time to time.

I would love to see pictures of this poject before and after. To my knowledge this car has pretty good aftermarket support, even for its age. I'm sure you will have fun with the build. Judt don't let the customer go cheap. From what I know about this style, its all in the execution!

Ya i'm trying to explain that to him. The people who are in the market for this brand of JDM insist on the highest quality parts.
 
I told him if he isn't commited to buying/installing quality parts, it will do nothing but lower the value of his ride. If he doesen't want to commit 101% it'll be better if he just flips it now and takes his cash and moves on.
 
He got this ride factory fresh with 36,000 miles on it. It is clean, clean, clean. I know your head would explode if you knew the great price he got it for.

modifying it will not add value to the car, which i'm sure you know, even if he uses the highest quality parts. he'd have better luck selling it stock and clean to a true enthusiast than dumping a ton of money into it in hopes of profiting and getting a fraction of it back. might as well straight flip it... or even better; modify it for himself.
