Digital Controller reco

anyone have any recommendations? and i wont take sleazy street autopilot for an answer. seems like everyones having problems and im not the only one. if the new parts they send me dont work im gonna send it back chock full of cat scat. 

ANYways..

does anyone on the boards have the dakota digital, aircommand controller, or airride proe2? ive seen the e2 in person yesterday n looks kinda like a controller for a sharper image massage chair. although its highly recommended by my installer.i know a lot of airrunner guys use dakota gauges for their paddle setup. but havent seen a digital ride setup so far. 


if anyone knows any other controllers out there please chime in.

i have dakota digital in my car.  im having a little problem with it but its installation error on my behalf mixed up the front and back on one side. this weekend i should be able to work out the bugs but i love it. ill try to go snap a picture for you

Dakota Digital......was more expensive than Easy Street Digital but if it works then I guess it is worth the extra couple hundred dollars.  LOL

here is a few pics  the flash on my phone is kinda weak thats why the pics are so dark. its the brushed finish with the green lights i also have the wireless controller too i was under the impression you could use it while you were driving but i havnt figured it out yet only while car is off i need to do some reading.  the key fob is kinda big too

i done a few airrunner with the dakota controller. if you need to see it in person i have.

Not really sure what cat scat is but thanks for the offer.  All of your new parts are on the way, make sure the components are wired [U]according[/U] to the instructions this time and you shouldn't have any issues.
 
We sell plenty of these kits all around the world, as long as they are wired properly and the wiring harness has not been modified, they will perform without flaw for years.

ive installed 3 of the auto pilot systems with no problems whatsoever..

so if it were to be from the dakota digital, aircommand, airride proe2 or auto pilot which is the most reliable system?

the dakotal digital is a good system I have like 3 friends running it , but I'm the only one with Airride Tech

Over all I love it, only issues with the sensors is when you have your car jacked up and when you have the wheel hanging it stresses the sensors as it pulls it down too ...

my installer really wants me to put that in it instead but like you said its still pretty expensive.

^^^ is it worth spending 800 on it

my advice... Keep it plane and simple! Not worth the money and head achs.. better things you can do with that amount of money. IF your  going to have someone install it.. I really say stay with good old Switches.. 
 
Switches are the most reliable Just front Back UP DOWN plain and simple. Plus easy to trouble shoot if any thing goes worng and cheaper to just buy a switch..
 
The brain controls everything.. what do you do when you comp. doesnt kick on? JUmping it can do more damage to the system.. 
 
I sent hours on an install of an controler and did everything what the manufactures tech told me to do and it never worked right and till today Yoshis controler still aint working right. 
 
Take it from an installer point.. not worth the head achs.. and all the extra wires...

ive been hearing this the more i look into them. :pat: i hate switches tho! shit..

Im not the only installer to recomend this.. I even called the manufacture before i did the install to make sure or get any tips.. 
 
I did everything by the book and reps sugestions and it still dont work.. one thing i did do was extend the wires becuase the wires are to short.. and i know when extending the wires i never crossed and did every thng good and even solered and heat shrinked wire connections.. 
 
with swtiches and controller you still have to push the bottons.. IMO i see no diff. setting the pressure isnt that hard doing with plan old swithces.

i feel you on that. if my third autopilot doesnt work properly im just gonna put a digital gauge n paddle switches. i just wanted the 1 button ride height, auto raise when u put the key in, and pressure gauges for all bags plus the tank. so at the time this seemed like the cheapest, most sensible solution.  :shrug:

rocking Airride proe2 here...loving it so far.  I have it on my lexus, my daily truck and my 1939 chevy
