Need Offset Help... For IS300, 18x8.5/18x9.5
What is the best offsets for the is300 if i want to get... 18x8.5 / 18x9.5 rims, i'm also going to be dropping my car more than 3 inches!
i don't mind doing any SAFE fender mods, which would be the best... shaving, pulling, or rolling?
also, i found a set of rims that are +40 for the fronts and +45 in the rears... would that work and what tire size would be ideal for it?
- thanks

I believe the +45 is safe for the IS300. Run 245/35 front and 265/35 rear.

you can go 18x 8.5/9.5 +35 all around with a good strech and camber, no pull just roll

We ran 19x8.5 +35 19x9.5 +30 with the fenders rolled and pulled a little:

Tire size is also important. We ran 225-35-19 and 235-35-19. Also, tire brand is important too. Dunlop SportMaxx have a really wide tread, just as a reference. Oh, the AME's are both Hi-Disk and large back pads which is why the lip is small.
thats the problem with these IS....can't fit lower offsets even with a RWD chassis.

Weak or not....that's about all we could fit under the fender after rolling and pulling. The first gen IS a smaller 4 door. The 2nd gen can get a more aggressive setup. We're running 19x9 +22 and 19x10 +22 on our red one.

The thing about the IS300's, is that its a RWD with a FWD chassis:pat::runcoold::shrug:
Thats why the stockers are 17x7 +45 all around :slap:
