ipod + stock radio

saw this on another forum, easy to add your ipod w/o a transmitter

connects to your fm antenna port behind you stock radio.  has a screen to display your tracks, and a remote while your ipod stays in your glove.

hows sound quality. anyone know?

It's a fm transmitter, so you would not get the best sound. It also has a audio line out, but your head unit has to have a audio input to be able to use it. I bought one last year for $20 from BUY.COM.

if you really wanted sound quality you wouldn't be using an ipod anyway. name brand and cheap... might as well go for it.

Metra makes a great kit that will take advantage of most Factory radios' CD Changer input.

Works pretty good for me....

I actually installed one of these for a family member and it was pretty decent in the sound quality department, pretty cool for those that don't wanna change out the head unit or don't have the ability to do so.  Alpine makes a unit called the EX-10 which isn't too bad either, it does blue tooth and full speed I-pod capabilities

It's not a bad piece, I would try and use the audio out if I were to get one.  Otherwise, I would use the same thing that MoWGLi does :-)

I currently have it installed in my car it sounds great... plus it charges my iPod & iPhone (non-3G)... it basically plugged into the satellite radio input of my head unit... I control my iPod through the factory radio completely plus it displays the songs, playlist and album information on my navi/radio screen... :biggthumpup: ... very simple to install... took me 15 minutes to install...

i saw this product in best buy called isimple if your car has a button for satillite radio but dont have it installed it it comes with a interphase type thing that makes it so u can connect your ipod and also get hd  radio, using that SAT button on your car, they only make it for a couple cars, a couple lexus and bmw's, nothing for infinitis yet tho, its just something else to look at
