Hello there

Hi, I'm just introducing myself to the forums. I currently drive a '99 Integra LS but am in the process of selling it and I'm thinking it's time to step up and get a comfy sedan. I just received my bachelor's degree in human services, getting married at the end of January and I'll be receiving my degree in criminal justice in May and feel like with so much changing in life it's time for a change in my personal transportation. I'm thinking about a LS400 but nothing is set in stone. Looking forward to learning all I can from the veterans on the board. Later!

welcome, the LS is a good platform to build from but look around, and do some research of your own so you can figure out what YOU like. again welcome

I'll warn all of you now that I ramble - A LOT! Thanks for the warm invitations. Nice to get away from the ass hats found on some of the Honda forums *cough* honda-tech *cough* to what seems to be a more laid back group of car enthusiasts.

Yeah I'm tired of my Integra. I had to go out of town on a five hour round trip Monday and my back is still killing me. I'm 6'2 and just not comfortable in the car. They're really good cars and I'm not knocking them but I've had it for like 4 years and I'm ready for something new.

Oh I love the LS400. I grew up with my Dad driving old school big body Mercedes and the body lines of the LS are very reminiscent of that style to me. I'm going to keep it pretty conservative - lower it on coilovers, add some staggered 19 inch wheels, maybe a little audio and that's it. It's going to be my only car so I need to keep it reliable. Lol while not mind blowing and a little cookie cutter it'll still be mine and that's fine by me.

Alot of possibilities with a Criminal Justice degree but that idea is out the window. I found out that I need 15 hour of BLET (Basic Law Enforcment Training) and I'm not trying to do that. Without the BLET I only lacked 9 hours of coursework for the CJS degree. :pat: So many of the courses from my Social Science Degree overlapped into the CJS degree. Ugh, I guess I'll start a Masters program. If I want to make any sort of money I'll have to. I was stupid for going into social/human services (no money in helping people in need! :smiley-rofl:) but what are you gonna do?

Here's my Integra, dirty and looking like a half decorated Christmas tree . I had planned to get it resprayed, lose the spoiler, and add an OEM front lip in the process but now that I'm selling it I don't see a point in putting in any more money. It also needs to go at LEAST an inch lower in the front and back but between the crappy Skunk2 Pro S Coilovers and the prospect of selling it, there's no point.

Welcome...now drop the kiddie car and get serious!! Haha, j/k..but you'll be happy after you've made the change. You seem to have the right attitude to grow and learn and that's the best start we could hope for.
