205/40/18 on 10"

anyone know if it can be done? never heard of anyone doing this one yet. anyone got pics.
my 225/40 wont clear the body. so im looking for something with some decent meat because of the negative camber. anyone got any recommendations. was thinking proxes. other than that..iunnno

how about 215/40? 

205 on a 10j is crazy, im sure its been done, but it wont be safe at all and dont know how long the air will hold in.

I have 215 on a 9j and its a good sretch but of course, if I wanted to go crazier I would have done 215/40 on a 10j.

I have 18x8 front and 18x10 rears as well.

Currently my 255/35 T1R on my 10 is too big. I want more stretch in order to achieve tsurachi but I was thinking 235/40/18 Falken 912 but I don't think that's enough barrel exposed.

My front is currently 225/40 but I want to put a 215/40 on there to tuck lower.

205 on a 10 ?  WOW    gonna be pretty crazy , I was losing hope charley didnt hear anything about your build ! 
 
 
My homie just did the 225/40 on the 18x10 and  I thought that crazy but if it was a 19x10 225/35 then that crazier .

yeah, im almost finished with the air and fitment. but due to the negative camber, i wont clear my kit and parts of the fender lip correctly.
yeah, i figured a 205 would be crazy, but anyone else got any opinions. i need the clearance of 205 i think, but dont want to be driving and losing a new tire/rim.
or other option, is going down size for wheels. but at this point i wont be able to due that due to insufficient funds. i might try 215/40/18, but really would much rather prefer the 205 as its the smallest i can get, then work my way up.
and anyone got any tire recommendations for 205's.

yeah, thats no stretch at all almost. def get 215 for the fronts, and check the stretch threads, there are plenty of 225/40 and 235/40 on 10". 225/40 is pretty darn extreme.

235/35 is what i would run,  you could do a 225/35 though

i'd stay away from 205 on a 10" sounds real crazy hehe, i'd like to see it though

I just stetched some Hankooks on my 11.5 its a 255/35  I should have pics tonight of how they look

^^^I've done 215/45/17 on a 17x9. It looked almost like your 215/40.

I'm gonna balls up and do 235/40/18 on a 18x10 and modify my rear air setup to finally get it lower than the top of the damn tire. It annoys me to see my $3500 air setup not lower than these $2000 starter kits.

its stretch enough.. i dont know 205 / 40 / 18 on 10..but i think its gonna fit with extreme stretch

Ok. I changed my mind.

I'm gonna do 225/35/18 Falken ST115 for good stretch and good wheel lip exposure.

The front I'm gonna camber 1* more since I'm getting outter tire wear and I'm gonna shrink the front down to 215 from 225.

That should be pretty gangster.

*edit. Found out ST-115 doesn't come in flexible sizes.

I guess it's back to Falken 452.

18x8 with 215/35/18 not that flush but tucks really low.
18x10 with 225/35/18 hella tsurachi flush.

What do you mean by flexible sizes?

I run 235/35/19 on 19x10 and ran 245/40/18 on 18x10.5's.  Those were just fine for me and the bead never popped off...even under "questionable" driving..haha.

235/35/19 is all good for the 19x10...i dont have clearance so the 215/35/19 on the 19x10 might do lol...hopefully. what do you think?

Well, we did that before (the 215/35/19), but it came of the bead once on a gnarly pothole that jumped out of nowhere.

i am thinkin about goin with 225 40 on 18 by 9 and 18 by 10 on my accord. should be ok?
