72mm polini bore,28mm mikuni carb, pg pipe, aftermarket reed valves, ignition system, 7.5-1 gears, pulleys and weights, lightened flywheel, harley davidson mirrors, parts basket, color match wheels, load adjsutable rear shock, vented cltuch cover,racing cltuch assembly, center spring and rollers, etc.....top speed 65 mph...

My neighbor has a water cooled one that does 85-95 mph....

in fact, Saitaniya (才谷屋) Factory has an undergoing project to convert a honda forza into the akira bike
pretty interesting... although there are already some one-off custom being made already

Those bigger scooters are freakin huge though. Like almost as long as a car (looks like you can fit 4 people on it behind each other)... I was blown away by them when i saw them in Tokyo

majesty's are about 7 ft. long stock, some of the kits have to add more to that :crazy2:

they are neat, but the guys who drive them are the biggest asshole drivers in Japan usually. kinda like the bad ricer drivers here. swervin thru traffic and makin a ruckus. although, the smaller scooters are being drag raced in japan. nuthin new tho.

Some of them are in more modern Bosozoku gangs which from the sound of it is what you experienced.

Those scooters are so damn cool. Mopeds used to have such a bad rep, now they're the hottest thing everywhere!

I saw a majesty here the other day, and that thing has nothing on the scooter i saw in Japan. It was at least another 2 foot longer than a majesty!
