88 Legend Sedan Ideas??

HEy wuss yall im a noob from New jersey and i want to build a vip style acura legend sedan any ideas?

legend>>>>????  idk bro... but i think the chassis types are like the high ender cars.  in my opinion if i did a vip setup on an acura it would be a TL OR RL unoe much more lux., wider, and closer to the possiblities. dk jus saying... do watcha gotta do withit. good luck

Idk either bro , in the short time i've been around here i've been picking up on the fact that you just can't pick any platform and call it vip. There are guidelines and accepted platforms.
 
It makes sense to me, cause I would laugh my ass off if someone showed up to a musclecar cruise night in a Yugo with Torque Thrusts on it and a bitchin paint job and argued with me that he had every right to be there with the classic american muscle.
 
I would search for acceptable platforms in my price range, (there are older acceptable platforms).
 
It is hard to explain, but you'll get what i'm talking about soon enough. one of the big boys will chime in soon enough.
 
I am still figuring alot of this stuff out, so if you don't currently OWN the Legend, hold off. If you DO own the Legend, hell do your thing!  They are great cars and you could really nice that ride up...I just don't know for sure if it can truly be called vip.

I would start by poring over the stickies and relevant threads.

You'll get the best information to get you started from there.

Ok you can do that car with vip style. Honestly anything can be done with vip style but not everything is vip. Read through stickies and you'll understand that. 

Now with that said.

1. How far do you plan to take that car. If it's your first car and you love it to death then I can understand that you will take it pretty far. I am working on an 87 Camry because I love these cars. I'm partial to it since it was the first car I'd ever owned. I've had others but I still love my old camry.

2. What suspension options are out there for your car?

3. You better have money or high limits on your credit cards if you want to make something look atleast half decent. You will be spending a good chunk of change on wheels. Reason I say that is because unless you plan to buy some nice used wheels and make them work or buy new wheels that you've measured and measured and measured to make sure they'll be the perfect size you'll be spending a lot on your wheels either way. 

4. What subtle body kits are out there for your car or what car out there has a subtle kit that you can adapt to it?

There is a lot more but that depends on how far you really wanna go/how much you really wanna spend.

to be honest that car is way to low, small, skinny, narrow. it looks like a 4 door integra really.

there are a lot of cars people use that drift from the formal vip chassis, but even then those cars have big bodies and the right lines. i think the 88 legend is way too far from the formal concept.

You could make it resemble a 31 Gloria:

But considering the torsion bar suspension you have up front, it's be damn near impossible to have it truly slammed and riding well.
