New from Socal (L.A x L.B)

Sup VSC.  I'm currently residing in Long Beach for school, but was born and raised in Alhambra 626.

I'm new to modifying cars in general and especially the VIP style. I have a Toyota Camry LE '09 and my friend mentioned to me a couple times about modifying my car VIP style. I'm not sure where to start, even with simple HID's or fogs lol. 

Hopefully, I'll slowly begin to mod my car, but funds are minimal. Rent, books, etc.

My advice, sell your car and buy a VIPplatform that's the best way to start! TRUST ME!
And don't say you can't afford it cause you can get a nice Q45 for around 5K!

VIP platform cars are RWD and a camry is a FWD... do what pancakes said get a Traditional VIP platform car:biggthumpup:

look around the vip platform gallery and youd see what vip is bro... you need a  rwd big body luxury sedan.

Why would he sell his newly bought 09 Camry?

I say stick with what you got and turn it into your "own" style VIP or not. More unique that way...

search camrys in this forum.  there are some to give you inspiration, but it would be easier with a different car.

i think there are a couple camrys that are done nicely in here, but they dont shout VIP.  still nice cars though

i agree with that! just mod it according your styling along with a little VIP INSPIRATION! nonetheless you can make it just as nice.

yea i highly doubt the platform will change, its a new car and im sure hes still financing it.


as for your build, itll be really tough pulling off a VIP look considering the body and lines of the car.

BUT  you can definately adapt some fundamentals of VIP and adapt it to your car.


i would first look into either coil overs or air suspension for your camry.
then follow up by learning fitment and offsets on your camry so you can throw on some nice, flush VIP wheels.

after that, its all the little details that can set it off. possibly even a body kit, but i doubt there is much for your car.
theres a thread here full of VIP malaysian camrys that look hella sick.

here they are, i know u dont have the same body but you could definately use it as an inspiration...

And when your done with school, get a job and you can be flossin vip all day, all month & all year if you wanted to, in a fresh vip platform !

yes! plus, i'd take a 2009 camry over a 5k 'vip platform' anyday!and real vip's sit in the back of a limo.  lol...   :shrug:

The upside-down toyota badge just seems funny to me...

Why does that guy have a VIP Modular wheels banner on his windshield but he's rocking cheapy TSW's?
