craigslist G50

anyone else see this on craigslist SF Bay Area? i got bored last night and started surfing CL, and stumbled apon this, pretty clean. zenki front end, and some aight looking 20's. trunk looks wierd with out the president emblems. guess im not shaving my rear....

Well he responded to me email. Cool guy, he said he did get it from panda garage. As like mines, he had to do a lot of work to get things to fit the way it does. A lot of bracket making he said. Front took about 8hrs to get right, rear was an hour... he lives not too far from where in staying, im thinkig of checking it out for the hell of it while im still in the bay...

Translation - He said, he's upset because he has put in more money on his G50 than the cost of this car and his car still looks like crap. Basically he fills the same as everyone else that wishes they would have waited or had the $$$$$ to buy this!

That thing is sweet looking.  I think that the pricing is actually not that bad considering all that has been done to make everything "fit".  Also the condition looks really good.  I agree with Mista808 that the rear don't look right without the "PRESIDENT" on her.  Looks like a great opportunity to jump right into the VIP Styling and Scene for some lucky person.

I am on the :saiyancrunks: Bandwagon too. 

I wasted so much money and effort on my build just to tear it down to keep my own sanity. Then the panda garage conversion pop for about 1.5x more than what i paid for my trunk and tails............

Curious to know why he is selling?

Waiting for his reply on why he is selling... im all sick that I bought my g50 when I did for $4700. If I would've waiting a couple months, I could've had a white on white 95 g50 with way less miles for less than what I paid for mines... oh well, shit happens, but now I got a president conversion probably paid more than anyone will that will buy one from panda cuz I live all ther way out in hawaii... shipping was a grip...

I think the wheels are killin it! And although it has low miles, there are better deals for $8500. Drop the price by $3000 and loose the wheels, then maybe he gotz my attention..

it's 6.5k, not 8.5

6500 without the wheels, converted and painted for a 94+ (less maintenance costs) is a decent price. i'd still try and talk him down. lol. for under 10k total you could get the suspension, trim, and wheels right. how can you loose? lol.

People on craigslist overprice the cars especially the 240sx with SR and stock everything.I agree with augdogg drop the price more people will jump on it.Maybe he has bad injectors or something?:shrug:

these cars drive incredibly  (when they're running right)
 
but they're not worth anything when you're selling.  
 
I see G50 ads on craigslist for $1,000 all the time and they dont sell.

Yeah trust me I know how well these cars don't sell.
Only 2 folks buy these cars. VIP Fans/Fanboys and Hustlers who want something to put 22's with 22" emblems on. :slap:

EDIT well I forgot about NICO. There, it's just people who love the cars.

From what it seems, you'll never break even with a G50.


I'm still looking for that magic C/L ad that goes something like this:

94 Q45 blk/blk
good interior no tears/rips

blah 
blah
engine doesn't run, it starts but doesn't idle.  Come get it as is $1000 obo

That's when I'll email him offering $100 to swap interiors b/c you know where unsold, non-running Q45's end up.  He'll get a $500 tax break + $100 spending money.
