The New Feb. issue of VIPSTYLE & VIPCAR is out and I jus wanted everyone to know that the VIPSTYLE is a MUST OWN!!!! Both mags come w/ 2009 calenders. VIPCar comes w/ a HUGE wall calender and the VIPstyle comes w/ a mini flip calender.....

It's there 100th mag anniversary and is filled w/ some much goodness! It's a mag for any and all people interested in VIPstyle. The mag pretty much goes through the history and aspects of VIP and a wrap up of the 100 issues of VIPstyle mag!

JDMPalace usally is the main vendors that will sell them and sometimes a few others.
I would be a vendor if I could figure out how to get shipping down and if it wasn't so much of a hassel......

Wow. When I was looking at the pics in the first post it really hit me how incredibly far US VIP is from japanese VIP. I mean seriously they make their own kits or modify existing ones beyond recognition, almost every car there has suspension mods most people here don't even know about, the stance and the way they use colors is so advanced compared to us here. Don't get me wrong some people are building some serious serious shit here but still the caliber of those cars build is huge.

That lime green cima makes me laugh cause if someone did that here everyone would be like "thats not VIP thats dub" haha wow we are so far... maybe I do need a tree fungus induced vision quest in the woods for my exterior build, i'm feeling a little enlightened already. =)

I should have them posted very soon !!

Can't wait cause I'mma cop these.

That's because some people over here get it and some don't. A car itself depending on price is imo already VIP. But I think what a lot of people over here try to emulate is the old school version of vip considering that the good majority of people over here have older versions of the luxury cars and for the most part all the pictures that you find online are of the older cars with subtle lip kits and dark colored paint jobs. This is what I like to call the junction produce mentality. Basically because the owner of JP says "jump" we all have to say "how high." That's bs to me so I do my own thing as do many others. As you pointed out the lime green cima. Most of the "north american VIP experts" will say its dub because of the color. But look at where its featured... Same thing with the autofashion/howmanyothermillionownersithas M35xTT. There were a few people saying it's nice but the color isn't VIP. Nowadays I think VIP Style is all about stance + fitment on anything luxurious. We all need to get past the fact that there are guidelines. Build what you want because you want to build it. Just make sure it has proper stance+fitment and I'm sure it'll turn out just fine. =)

Got my 2 today. I dont think I have the f50 junction fold out though. ill look again. I got the one with the aimgain white aristo with the new aimgain wheels.

Edit: nevermind, I do. Its on the back of the calender poster and the aimgain aristo is on the back of the multiple cover car mini poster.

Does VIPstyle tell wheel sizes, offset, and tire sizes?

I know VIPCAR doesn't list offsets and tires.

Hit up just about every Japanese bookstore in NYC, and none of them had VIPcar.

I did, however, get the last VIPstyle at Asahiya :) lol.

The owners in Japan don't always like giving out that info.  Its like asking a woman her age or weight, either they don't tell you or they lie to you :shrug:

Both mags give out:
-Wheel sizes 
 
*only Style gives out tire sizes (VIPcar might do it once in awhile)
 
Both mags will give out offsets evry blue moon and only if the owner gives them.
 
Both give out fender pull/extend lengths
 
None of this matters though, because majority of them rock spacers!

and Agi is right, giving out offsets is like a no no. Because the somebody can take those specs and use them as a dick ruler to go more aggressive or copy what you did defeating the purpose of figuring out the hard way. Also giving out offsets and what not hurt busenisses in the same way....

You only know where the line is drawn when it's crossed.
 
For example, out here in SD many of the Y33 owner's are homies and down w/ each other. So if your homboi has the same car he most likly will share what he knows w/ you. Unless he's a bastard and lies! LOL! SO we all pretty much know what fits and what won't, etc. 
 
Also, it's hard to sell wheels w/o giving out these specs.....
 
But when you get cats that are straight noobs hitting you up for specs so they can jus go wherever and order rims that are more aggressive, then brag about that shit. That's when it gets annoying and because a issue.....
 
The main point is that it's not about the lowest offsets or the biggest lips, it's about what works and what looks good. I've seen many of cars that look way better than cars w/ bigger lips!
