Been reading & looking at pics on this forum for a long time, finally introducing myself...The wife and I wanted a nice practical car (4 doors, trunk, etc) since my other vehicles are a VW cabrio (summer/nice weather only) and a toyota pickup (tiny, 2 seats, POS).
I'm a euro guy, but love the vipstyle japanese cars, as well as the tuner cars, and debated just about everything but domestics for months on end.. seriously considered both Lexus GS and LS's, but in the end a great deal came up on what is pretty much my fav car that fit the criteria...
Picked up a 2004 Audi A8L, and so far I love this car. Dark gray/blue with amaretto (brown) leather interior. Factory air-ride, lowered through vag-com (vw/audi diagnostics program) by the previous owner. It seems to sit lower in the rear than the front though, so in the spring I will try to play with that and see what can be done.
I don't have any other decent pics yet, the weather is cold & crappy here and the car is filthy right now from holiday travelling. A good wash and new pics are on my to-do list.

currently in the body shop for some small custom touches and a fresh coat. It's my current project and the A8 will pretty much just be a (very nice) driver for a while yet.
