the interior is dove grey leather from auto leathers with the wood grain inserts molded in.

Cars not VIP platform. Wheels arent JDM brand. High Offsets. Woodgrain is FAUX. 

But respect to you as a fellow Galant owner. 

Suggest you check this site out for ideas and inspiration to give it the VIP touches.

nice galant bro.  whats your suspension? Even thou the rims are usdm one piece. at least its simple and your fitment looks sweet!   i suggest just switch out to a clean 19s staggered rims like work, ssr, leons. But it looks like your on the right direction.

suspension/interior looks real good, but you're gonna need a little more work before you claim the "vip styled" title.

dang i just got these rims :sad:
 i was going to put sum spacers on the back to make the lip kiss  and try to get the front down way lower.  but the whole suspension was from airbagit but was completely redone due to the crappyness of there kit im working with the hack shack rite now to get the suspension and ride better

wet-sand and polish...car has potential.  Just iron out the details properly and you'll be set.  "vip platform" talk is gay...so don't sweat it.

after weeks of pretty much redesigning my whole front suspension and hacking away i got the front to tuck the front of the rim by like 2 1/2 inches so it was layed out and nearly as low as the rear. then i went and put on a BW2 front bumper and screwed everything up. so back to the drawing board.

I talked to a couple of shops back home on leave and if King of tires can get me the MHT LLC's for under 3500 with my offset i will give up my u2s.  A new paint job is a must but it is last on the list.

don't sweat the wheels not bing JDM either....the issue with the rims is just that they have more of a DUB style look.  It's a good start but BlkonBlk said it best....still have a ways to go to get to that "VIP Styled" level.

i have a few more tricks up my sleeves that i think you guys and my galant guys are really going to like. i have a slew of parts on order that should beat me home. me and Fizz Autosports are going to collaborate on something truly beautiful lol 

im going all black everything with a dash of chrome and wood

what do you guys feel about black faced rims? i haven't seen to many of you with them: iforged 3pc aeros w/ black face

imho black face wheels look good when there wide and flush, if there sunken in and not the right size they come off as cheap and run of the mill.

My girl runs them on her I35...again though, it's about presentation not a name or color.

eeh i think im going to stick to the 20s my kit barley touches the ground on them. if i can ever find a set thats vip approved that dont cost 4 or 5 grand

but hell those traffic stars are a 5 spoke design too. i defiantly cant do 16mms less clearance in the rear.


is it the fact that they have a brushed finish to them make them VIP worthy? I think even if i would fit those i would have the same to sporty not enough VIP look.

Where are you located in Texas? You could fit some wheels like people mentioned just need a good pull done as far as the rear goes. Some other rims would make that car.

[COLOR=darkorange]with the airbags going back on (some day) it is going to tuck to close to the tire in the back and looks like it will set on it. hopefully when i buy the new 225/35s 2maro it wont be so round and will clear the fender when i drop it on the ground in the rear.[/COLOR]

[COLOR=darkorange]im not worried about the front because its only a 11mm shift outwards and whats that like a third of a inch. so it should tuck with a slight pull on the 215/35/19s[/COLOR]

Thanks guys the car is in paint as of friday. my body guy has been working his ass of on it and it coming along real nice. He sais it will be done on friday . At that point all i will have to do is wait for my seats and find a hydro dipping place that doesnt want my first born to do the trim pieces.

theres some details  i'm not really feeling but you've done some nice work overall. the fogs from that kit are dope. how much did leather seats charge extra for the diamond stitch?

they charged 600 more for the stitching on top of regular price and what details dont you like so i can put them on a fix list.

Now the shift boot HA that bish was to jacked up to even install so my dog chews on it as a new toy lol. the floor mats i like aswel but they are not strong enough for daily use in a 5 speed ive already made a clutch hole :( so they will be gone soon or maybe i will just order a show set. now that all of the hard stuff is over i can do the details [/COLOR]

damn dude, nuff respect for all that work you did. i've never seen an 8G interior that detailed and unique. you went hard. love the swede headliner and diamond stitching everywhere.

i used to be Platano/Neteru on TGC, and i had the 5-speed swap, evo brembos, evo recaros, full vr-4 exterior conversion, lights, tails, super vr4 sides, etc. and i parted my G out and copped a lexus SC300.

anyway, good luck with your project man. seeing what u did kinda brings me back to memory lane with that car. :biggthumpup:
