Silver paint ideas!!! need some examples

Hey well my Y33 is ready for paint and currently it is a medium gray factory color

I need suggestions or pics of some nice silvers that wouldnt require me to do the entire jams and everything (too late at this point)

whacha got guys? personally to me silver is a nice color but I dont know of any specific silvers that really make it pop (silver star is out of the choices because of playedoutedness)

Mercury metallic is a great color its the lexus LS460 silver. Looks like liquid metal, all other silvers are just 'plain silver' to me.

I would also suggest spraying a pearlcoat over whatever silver you get. It looks incredible and blends your jams ect.. together nicely. I'd say a blackpearl or a blue pearl would be sweet.

yup Pancakes, you're right that car is sick, my 240 is getting done a similar color, i love that color but I'm trying avoid doing jams and all cuz i'm po' hahaha

Have you thought about Vogue metalic silver from Honda and add a pearl color to that.

I still like my Mazda's old Silverstone metallic, for its brightness.

I regretted switching to a darker gray.

hmmm Vogue Silver Metallic is nice :D so is the Honda Storm Metallic hmmm I'm happy I asked here =)

Check out House of Kolors, they have many different silver bases that are undercoats for Candy. I also like the German silvers, Porsche, Audi, Merc. They always have a clean look to them. There are thousands of variants on each silver from red to blue, clean to coarse. Its all on the look you want. Go to a body shop or automotive paint supply store and look at some color chips. Good luck

for darker silvers the old supra one is my all time favorite.

word, go to a mercedes dealers, u will find plenty of silvers. HOK platnum pearl is sick too, ontop had that color didn't he with the wide body accord at some point?

BMW Stratus Grey Metallic.
Kind of silver/light grey with a gold pearl to it.....very nice in the metal.

I'm bias...and like the silver w/ pearl, but really tho I can't stand silver cuz all of my cars have been silver.
