the orange guy, im new =)

hello everyone. it was only a matter of time before i became a family member on here. i started it out with honda's. tricked it out, dragged a lil with it and then off to my next love 240's! i love drifting and i still do. i fell in love with s15, then s14 and then the s13 and ive been in love with them ever since.

this is she my first love. i love the fastbacks and i still do. ive had her for about 3 years and then i wanted to do something a bit more "different" to set my self even more part (like the orange wasnt enough) and i came up with this.

this is what i drive now and i have yet to drop the top down in the summer. i built it last fall and drifted it a few times last year. i have a big year ahead and i cant wait to drift in the 09' buttt i love cars and its my way to present my self and show my art piece. i created vehicles that i dream about in my mind and i use them for what they are made for.

the last silvia i built i wanted a sweet looking street/track type of car with a little VIP look. i have always been fond of the VIP scene but was scared to jump into it because drifting is expensive and i had no extra funds to jump into an even more expensive aftermarket scene.
 
but i ran into a good deal and i am a proud new owner of a y33!
 
i fell in love with the q45 for its shape and gentlemen style. i was looking for a g50 and i wanted one so bad so i can do a president front end on it. that was my vip car of choice but a newer q45 with updated interior and still a nice body with out having to do a conversion front end. a 99' q45 is still perfect in my book!

my last and final words...this car is sick! it drives beautifully, the handling is awesome and people say that this car is perfect...and so far i agree! for a luxury car i told my self ive always wanted a lex because when you drive it, you feel like your riding on cloud 9. this car not so much different. i feel as if my fresh sneaks and my street culture clothing is not up to par with what i am driving and i love it!
 
i am not looking to do much or go all out in this culture but i can gaurentee you that you will see a pretty nice creation through me so just sit back and enjoy =)

What did you type in "keywords: session and ssr" unless that was a way to say Sessions aero and SSR wheels?  Haha..btw, love the vert...minus that half-cage.

oh key words meaning im planning on doing a sessions kit and ssr vienna wheels. those are the main future plans for the car. before i had the car these were two parts that i had to have if i ever got a car.
 
and the vert is getting a formula d legal cage this year!

o yea and i was out in san diego this year for a vacation and the long beach redbull drift championships and i didnt know that SD is like VIP capital. i want to move out there in a few years..
 
and to answer the midwest question im from a state call minnesota. its near cananda for those of you that dont know and its like chicago but 5 times smaller

Long Beach is in LA area, Sandog is like...several hours drive south.  What gives you that impression in reference to vip and SD?  Just curious...what you said confused me if you meant LA or SD?  Haha..

yea i kno LA is about an hr drive up from SD but i just thought that SD was the main spot because of the shops and the shows...

we know drifting and cali go hand and hand. but SD is a very beautiful place and when i was there in Nov. im like why the fuck am i coming back to MN.

I would go ahead and cosign to say SD is very heavily deep w/ VIP enthusiast! Combine that w/ LAs peeps and woooo!
 
But The scene is really growing world wide! As far as the US, Hawaii is doing big things and Texas is coming up Hard as well as the NY!
 
I might sound basis but F*** it, SD is one of the biggest stateside!

thanks for identifying the kit. i always thought i wanted the sessions kit but man this JP y33 looks almost exactly how i want mine to look!

i also fixed my rear bumper yesterday and it took longer then i thought! working with drift cars bumpers are zip tied on and its quick and easy. dealing with the rear bumper of this q, well 3 hrs!

had to remove all the goods in the back to get to the bracket lining that holds and supports the bumper. also since the car was hit from behind on the passenger side i had to work the bracket back in to place under the tail light. the rear support brace took all the impact so that was great..no body damage but my CHECK engine soon light just came on =(

i was thinking it might be a maf or o2 sensor problem or something....car shakes a little bit during idle and it doesnt seem to have the pick up like everyone is talking about..
