Inspired by the true VIP scene.

Hi VIP'ers, my name is Zach and I'm new to this forum (although I've known about it for a long time and have been in to visit before).
I'm very interested in VIP style vehicles and the true VIP platforms and I draw a lot of inspiration from said cars. Unfortunately, I'm addicted to wagons. My new project is a 1995 Honda Accord LX Wagon (CE1). I'm here because I'd like to share with you it's metamorphosis and learn a thing or two about your scene as well. I'm sure that even though this isn't a true VIP car, some of you will enjoy watching my build. I'd also like to get opinions from the luxury aficionados on this forum to help guide me while I attempt to transform my wagon into something special.
Here is the platform I am working with:

Those pictures are all from this past summer when I first bought the car. It looks much the same now with a few minor modifications. I had to spend a lot of time and money on maintenance and just recently was able to purchase suspension and wheels.
For my stance I ordered Function Form dampers (borrowed pic from weaksauce), they will be arriving here tomorrow.

I got my wheels through bidschoice off YJA last week, they should be here in a month and a half, roughly. Work Ryver 17x8 and 17x9 all et35. They need a bit of refinishing, but the price was right and I really like the look of them. These are pictures from the actual auction I won them from. The tires are being removed prior to shipping.

So that's it so far. Nothing is really going on my car for a month or two since I have to wait for the wheels to arrive and then refinish them and buy tires. That's fine with me, I live in Indiana and I'd rather wait for spring to come before I install anything. Comments, questions, and suggestions are all welcome. Thanks for having me guys!

As long as you are aware that your car isn't a vip car and can only be vip inspired in nature due to what it is...then you'll be fine. We like to see other builds that are cleanly executed and hope that you can learn a thing or two about what we do and what we love...welcome.

Thank you for the welcome, and yes I am fully aware of what I have and what a real VIP platform is. The two are not the same, and I understand that. I only intend to build this car under a luxury inspired theme.
My main interest in this forum is to learn about the scene and get insight from the members here.

Yes, I am aware of that. The Accord wagon is indeed popular which makes parts pretty inexpensive and easy to find too. There are some really nice kits for the CE1 chassis, but I'm not too sure what direction I'm going with body mods yet, I normally like to keep it simple, but we'll see. I really like the look of the Accord wagon aired out with a mostly stock exterior and no window tint. I keep an eye on UpGarage and YJA at all times, maybe I'll come across a kit that I like and change my mind.
