My s2000

Been interested in VIP cars for awhile, currently i own a 03 s2000, looking to buy a LS430 in the near future. Let me know what you guys think.  Im debating to do air ride, but i feel its almost wrong to do that to a s2000.  Any helpful feedback is appreciated.

How does it sit level?

not as low as i want.....only air ride can make it happen. but its almost unethical to do it to a s2000.. wats your input? at level i got about a 1 finger gap all around

my loady has one and the only way she will let me fix it up is to bag it.  so im kind of in the air also.  but she wont let me start until she gets a new car.

Damn, nice car dude.  Bag it, who cares if it's unethical.  You don't track it, do you?  I want to see it on bags, that would be awesome.

dont bag it.. just get some nice coilover which will dump it even more.. stance coils or even f2 coils will dump it pretty nice

get a cup kit! something like bold world.

i got coilovers on it right now.. the thing is when its dump to the stance i want i cant drive around with out damaging the lip, fenders.... fenders are rolled, tires are streatch very little. i live in Boston, where roads are not smooth like florida etc. and no i dont track the car... i should just put up a poll lol

Well I can understand not wanting to scratch the lip.
All the dumped ones I see here don't have kit's 
IMO don't need one especially when they look so good on the ground....

that thing is sick but in my honest opinion can never be VIP. Maby VIP inspired and styled but a 2 seater sports car lol!

sick s2k! If you don't track it anyway and built it for the style/looks, it doesn't really matter if you put it on air. However, if you think you might be selling it soon, the air might take away a lot of possible sales because something tells me S2k people won't be as receptive to it as the folks here - plus that money could be saved for the air you'll probably want for your vipcar, and your s2000 already has a pretty badass stance on the coils.

I agree with adding a cup kit. You get the same functionality as coilovers but you can still raise it up for bumps and stuff.

I was just curious as the pic is at the bottom of an incline.  I am all about low ride height, so I was just curious.  My Z sat about the same level as your s2k:

When your fitment is right and you set up your suspension right, there's no issues.  I had all adjustable arms.  Tires were only stretched enough for clearance at low ride height.  I ran my coilovers at max rebound and max compression with custom higher spring rates front and rear.  It rode hard, but had great "feel" control to it.  I also had adjusted the TR's for max steering angle.

if u got the money, why not. its not a question of ethics...there are no ethics really when it comes to building a car.

but to be honest, your car looks so freakin low already. the front lip is like an inch from the ground and you want to go lower?

or did u just want the convienince of being able to raise your car and drive normal anytime u want, then slam it when you want?

thats why i got air suspension, i got tired of stopping and slanting up driveways.
especially around here where all the guys drive lifted trucks and tailgate your ass and honk. lol

i got air cuz i got tired of slanting up driveways, now i get bored up lifting my arm up to hit switches. lol. not a good combo when u forgot how to slant well.:smiley-rofl:

i fucked up my lip and bumper bad after i got air suspension. lol

the front lip is about 3 inch off the ground now.. i had to raise it up since that pic.. it was just not working around boston. They Blitz type 01's in chrome....im running 17x8 +38 in front and 18x9 +42 in back. Stock offset is +55 front with a 16x6.5 and +65 16x7.5 lol 
 
i think if i streatch more i dun have to worry about rubbing issues. but scraping the fornt lip will always be unsolved

But I never get tired of dumping it, but gringe and become insanly stubborn when I have to lift it for any reason! LOL!

I'm usually not into small roadsters, but there's something about the s2k that always catches my attention when one drives by. This one makes me drool. Nice job on keepin it clean.

can't go wrong with a set of blitz 01's on a white s2k with red interior. so on point sir! love the steering wheel as well, 300mm i assume?
