Directions to Alki Beach Boat Launch from I5
-Take the W Seattle Br. exit		
-Take the Avalon Way/Harbor Ave exit		
-Turn right at Harbor Ave SW
-Destination will be on the right in 1.6 miles

The will be plenty of parking for the amount of cars we had.  Last meet on October 18th there were roughly 200 cars in attendance, lets make this even bigger!!!

How was it?

Arrive to Alki to see some idiot on S2K trying to do a donut, his traction control kicks in and the car just jumps forward towards a small crowd of people. We pull into the parking lot and cops tell everyone to GTFO.
The putting the GTG together had preprinted directions to another place...Park and Ride in Eastage. Address he gave us took us in a residential neighborhood. Finally we found the parking garage. 
People arriving were revving their engines, burning out, some guy on STI was sliding around. 15-20 minutes later a cop shows up. I left...
Apparently another half hour later 5 more cops showed up and told everyone to leave.

I really don't understand why people do stupid shit. Everyone knows your Honda is fixed up...no need to rev up that lawn mower engine to show off how "fast" it is....or do burnouts. I've been to 2 huge VW GTGs and not a single person there tries to show off. Maybe it has to do with the maturity level???

Wow thats brutal.  I've been to a few Golden Gardens North West Nissan meets.  There is always idiots revving their engines to show off their blow off valves or doing burnouts.  

It definitely has to do with their maturity level.

.......which is why I rarely attend "meets" :(
