Just comparing how much lower I am than stock. Here are some side by side shots with my aunts bone stock 01 I30. Yes it's the same exact car, options and all. lol

The sides are not painted and wont be for a while because I currently have $1.60 in my bank account and $8.65 in my pocket along with a lighter and some lint... lol

I keep going back and forth on what I wanna do with the lip. Or wether I should even get one or not.  I'm also debating on getting a half size rear window spoiler and a small trunk lip spoiler.

nice, glad to see more A33 owners too.

side skirts are nice and subtle, but definately needs to be followed through with the front and rear. are you having trouble finding a lip for the front and rear?

and i say yes to roof and trunk spoiler, but for the trunk make sure its not the lil m3 replica ones, they are tacky.

also what kind of wheels are those and what specs? are you lookin to buy new wheels?

did you get those wheels on Maxima.org?  I'm trying to convince the girl to get a roof spoiler on hers too...she needs a front lip though.

Well, the only lip that is readily available for the A33 I30 state side is the ionic dynamics lip.

I'm not too thrilled about that kit though. The rear looks like crap, sides look tacky and the front just doesnt catch my eye. I was planning on going custom. I have a guy that does that stuff. I just need an existing lip from any other car to be modeled after.  
 
For instance, my friends 96 maxima with 4 door g35 sides.

The wheels are Tenzo-r Type M.
 
Front = 19x8.5 +17 215/35/19
Rear = 19x10   +22 245/35/19
 
Would you be able to point me in the direction of a different type of trunk spoiler than the m3 ones. I dont really like those 100% but I was gonna just settle for that because of the lack of options.

Yea, I got them second hand on maxima.org. They were almost the exact specs I was looking for. The only difference is that I wanted to go with atleast a 9 inch wide in the front. But the offset is low enough to get it to sit pretty flush.

Looks pretty good. Wouldnt be my first choice in wheels but they arent that bad either. Get the evolution lip kit then worry about trunk lip and roof spoiler later. A big gaudy one like the a32 wouldnt really match, not subtle enough. Sometimes, less is more.

First off very nice clean car and you should really get this kit & a roof spoiler :biggthumpup:

and I tried talking my girl into selling the VSKF's and picking up those rims but she loves her Works...

ooh thats looks nice. that front lip, maybe a rear lip and a 10 mm spacer w/ a tad more camber would be perfect.  the fitment right now is great, i just think a llittle camber would be nice.

+1 on that. i have an A33 myself and want that Kit for my car! If I had the extra cash it would be on already! Your car is nice man. Loce the drop on it. Keep up the good work. :biggthumpup:

Yup, as it's already been mentioned, no camber for me in the rear. This is just about as aggresive as I can go without further fender modification. When It's time for me to get new tires, i will go down to a 235/35 and then try a 5mm or even a 10mm spacer depending on how I'm feeling when the time comes. 
 
I can camber the front, but I prefer the front to be straight up and down on my car. -1 or -2 if any at all.  I wanted to run a 205/35 up front but I couldnt find a tire in that size I could afford at that time. I'm running nankang ns2 right now up front.  If I can get a hold of a 205/35 i will add atleast a 10mm spacer up front. 
 
I Hate FWD but there is just something about the A32 and A33 chassis that I love. I've had 3 A32s and this is my first A33 and I will probably get another one after this if I cant afford to own a Q. I think it's the way people underate these things as far as performance potential, looks, practicality and value.

I have an effective size of 18x9 +25 in the rear and I need to reduce the tire size from 245/40/18 down to 225/45/18 because it still rubs even with the rolled fenders...The fronts need spaced out also but that isn't my decision as it is the girls car..

i guess you have to own one to understand. while i'm personally not a fan of the a33's styling and think the use of the word "performance" should only be used in the "it performs well" context (vs. the "performance modifications" context) for all models, there is something about these cars. in full trim there is very little lacking between the a32/33 and the higher line luxury sedans. i could give a d**n about rwd and everyone knows the vq is one of the best engines ever made.

some ppl just don't understand when i say i am more concerned with acquiring a new i30 than i am with building my q.

man easily one of the most beautiful  i30's ive ever seen, what brand/model wheels are those???? they're sick!!

19x8.5 +17 front
19x10  +22 rear
 
What suspension is her car dropped on/how low. I would do a 235/40/18 in your situation. A 45 profile would probably be too much even with the 225 width. But I'm not a tire expert so someone jump in if i'm wrong.

Cant disagree with you there at all. I think you can sum it up by just saying that these cars are somewhat underrated. :shrug:
 
Hurry up and find that i30. We got a couple i30 conversions goin on down here and one that is pretty much done. =)

That may be true, but I have a hook up for stock Infiniti tires sizes:biggthumpup:  and the rub isn't that bad since the fenders are rolled.  She is lowered on coils and there is no visual gap in the rear but you can see almost all of the tire though...if that makes sense:pat:

40 series is the correct profile for the i30 on 18s, but do what you gotta do.

even though i posted up on max.org, i have to do it again...each time i look at the pics it makes me wish i had an i30/35 instead of the max...i also appreciate the fact you took what many would consider an off color and turned into something hot.

i'm sitting here trying to figure out what else you could do, but other than the new lip kit everything on your car flows sooooo perfectly. the only thing i can think is a nice chrome exhaust, assuming you don't have one.

i concur on the color... i didn't really notice it until i was chopping it up. i like it a lot.

i think the logical step after the kit would be nicer wheels in similar offsets. if you wanted to stick with the same style you could even get the cosmic venerdi version and some spacers.

I actually have a cattman axle back on the car currently. I need to get it extended though becuase the i30 rear bumper seems to be longer than the maxima. So it sits farther in so you cant see it. 
 
Dude, you have no idea. I owned 3 a32 maximas before and then bought a 98 mustang. I sold the mustang to buy another a32, the deal fell through and I was stuck without a car. My father manages a nissan dealership and got this on a trade in and could get it to me for a crazy deal. I almost didnt take it just because of the color, but it was what I could afford so I had to take it. I paid as much for this car as I would have paid for an old a32 in "ok" condition. 
 
The funny part is, my aunt bought hers brand spankin new straight of the showroom floor and I used to bash her on why she chose such an ugly color. lol :pat:

Those are sexy... What sizes are those available in? I think for my next set of wheels, I want to keep the same offset in the front. But I'd go with a 9" wide wheel. I like running 10" in the rear, but I wanna go a little more aggressive with the offset. 
 
When I was looking for a new set of wheels for the car, I was dead set on getting something with 5 spokes and a deep lip with a gunmetal finish. The style of wheel that I'm running was the last design on my mind. I dont know what made me pull the trigger on them. But i'm happy I did.

if you want width, they're not for you. i think they some in something like 8"/9" +38mm. like i said, spacers would be necessary.

i believe the sides skirts were from an A33 maxima and were sighted modified to fit on the i30 if i'm not mistaken.
