Hyundai Genesis Coupe

I was skeptic when i saw this car when it debut, Thinking it was a G37 wannabe...although it kinda is. BUT this shit is bananas & IMO the lines look better than a G37.

4.0 turbo & 6.0 rwd

Hyundai and HKS built one up, turbo and Kenstlye kit.

I've been waiting to buy one...   I'm hoping the track version isn't delayed...LSD and Brembos I believe...however my local shop dyno tested one and supposedly it was disappointing but has tons of potential since it uses the Evo style motors.

yeah the glass is weird how it dips like that.. other gripe is the tails, fckn huge!

Almost every fixed up GenCoupe I've seen has some pretty good wheel fitment....only problem is they are all TE37s.   Not that there is anything wrong with that.   TE37 are ALWAYS a good pick for ANY car.

Damn that's one sick as hyundai...i'm plan to get rid of my denali so i'm gonna check into that coupe for a daily:shrug:

looks nice. i just dont like the glass everyone is talking about and the rear end needs work. that side profile is nice though g35 front with some solara or ES350 rear end. its crazy how hyundai borrows exact styling cues from mixed companies on all their cars.

Car looks sick though I have yet to see a set of wheels that fully compliments the car.  Isn't this what's replacing the Tiburon?

That's a sick green.  Also, the lip kit a few of those cars have (ie: green car) makes the car look even lovelier!

Genesis coupe as a daily and genesis sedan vip'd would be hot! I see this platform getting scooped up fast!

The coupe has just raised the bar for all the others in it's market. The only real competitor I can see it having as far as performance per dollar is probably the cobalt ss turbocharged.  Honda is definitely going to have to step it up now only ricers will find it necessary to have their parents buy them an si. At least nissan has the 370z in their stable.

On a side note, does anyone know if the genesis coupe was picked up by any SCCA teams? I'm sure that there will be some in drift competitons.

As far as the sedan being vip'd I was looking at a black one in the parking lot of my job the other day and I don't know about people taking them seriously in the luxury car market yet but they sure look like they are worth every penny to me. Enough wood inside to make you feel like you might be in a jag imo. I wouldn't mind getting one and more than likely I probably will if I'm in the market for a new car. Considering what they've done in korea with the kias and the hyundais previously I believe its only a matter of time before more "Korean VIP" genesis sedan pictures start showing up on the internet.

That Coupe sounds fantastic, and for me, it's definitely every bit a Z competitor.

I think that the sedan might have a harder time breaking into its market, because being a RWD platform is nothing new for that kind of car.

It's affordable RWD coupes that people go nuts for.

I think that Hyundai is coming up...Hard. I was at the bank the other day and i was geting cash off the atm & i glanced to the side & Thought i saw a new LS460..( cause it was pearl/white ) after i got my cash i sensed something was diff with this "LS"..i didnt see no badge in the front [ keep in mind this was a few car spots away] so i went to look and to my amazement i was like..."WHAT!?....damn...not bad at all.." the new Genesis eh? i said...but little did i know they also had a coupe & its pretty wicked in my opinion. wouldnt mind flosin one of them :)

It looks good. When everyone was saying G37 wannabe I was thinking "nah not really" but when they are modded my brain keeps thinking its a G37!
