on older wheels like this it is SUPER common. 
its not really oxidation, its weird how it happens. 

but its real common all the diamond cut wheels that are older

yeah diamond cut gets nasty squiggly lines. damn these are a good price and nice sizes.

Ya, I have seen a few sets with the same thing, but just never quite that bad, especially the back sides.

eh, these came from okinawa, so they have been around the salt and shit, it just accelerated it.

i might break them apart and paint the centers black. not sure

adapter spacers......no excuse :)

Don't really feel safe using adapters, had a bad experience with them on my old car

im teling you that they are ok

not only do i have 5x139.7 to 5x114.3 on my jeep with TE37s
i also have ebay ones on my subaru from 5100 to 5x114.3

so, as long as you install them correctly, you wont have any problems

But what about the offsets adding spacer/addapters will make them even more agressive. I would like to put these on my 7 series but I'm afraid they'll stick out too much. Also what sizes are the lips front/rear?

Those with adapters are gonna have some cahrazy offset action going on....

but 7 series have shallow fenders so be prepared to do fender work

lips are like 4 and 5 inches or so. 
if you dont know if these will stick out with adapters, then dont buy them. you obviously dont deserve them

Truth, but I would have done the ample work to then make myself as low as the car would go on 19's if I had been going that far.  Certain cars yes I do believe your rule.  Certain cars it can be accomplished with 19" and bigger for being lowest possble.

But in my thoughts of picking up another y33 as a 3rd car, it will be on 18's.

so buy these and put em away for a rainy day
