#223675My first VIP post --- woo hoo ---
I am just getting into VIP style after 14 years of cheap ass 240sx owners/tuningI did my first SR swap (first in Dallas too) in 1997, that car ended up in Import Tuner in 2002. Next big project was another 1995 240 with a rb25det only thing that made it different was that it was an auto rb most it was in an all leather SE and was my first step toward more luxury. that car is cool but not VIP ... I bought a 2003 m45 for a cool daily driver and now I'm hooked on the VIP. I think I will be doing suspension (air) and wheels (19-20) next, soon. Also trying to sort out the tech package upgrade as my car doesn't have it and back up cameras are bad ass. I have a set of 30mm skyline brakes which no doubt look better than the stock brakes but Im not sure about the actual stopping power yet, I wont put them on if they are a downgrade.
I am here to meet people and learn about this style and get inspiration from the members of this forum, though I plan on doing it my way anyway.
First time I heard about VIP was from Van from 1 Ton. I liked it then iono like back in 2000-2002 but I wasn't ready for it. Im calmer now and done with school, plus the road are always wet up here. PICS
I think its a good clean start. However looking at the pictures over the past few months, maybe I should have held out for a Black one. let me know what you think. Cjex
