You are simply continuing to roll the fender.

Yes, but you run the risk of cracking the paint.  If that doesn't bother you, then sure.

At the same time, you also have the risk of dimpling if you rolled the fenders (on your GS).

Best way would be with the Eastwood fender roller type.

yeah you roll then keep going and it pulls it out. easier i would assume if you had already shaved it cause the metal would be flimsy and easy to pull.
 
when going real big flaring though obviously it will suck cause as you pull it out there's only so much metal so it will recede upwards up the panel and look wierd and odd (like a verandah). If you are going fairly big, what people do is cut snips in the metal like every inch or so and then roll so it sort of fans out, and then you fill those gaps either with metal or with fibreglass.
 
or, you cut out the metal and weld in a new crescent shaped peice that is bigger/longer so it can flare and keep a nice shape.

Im interested in how the 2GS guys roll their front fenders. We have a lining inside the wheel well (something to keep out dirt/debris) with a square box part that sticks out and sits on top where the top of the tyre would touch. When you guys roll or cut the front fenders, do you remove that lining/cover and can you keep it after the roll?

even when done properly you run the risk of cracking the paint. thats just how it is. 

i always try to get more camber out of it before going to fenders. of course i don't think i've had a car where i didnt roll them...lol

heat gun is your friend when it comes to keeping the paint from cracking...

when rolling the fender, is there any risk of having a bigger gap between the quarter panel and the door.

i would say no.

Yes there is on certain cars trying to fit crazy offsets. You don't have to worry about that though.

I didnt have that problem....
 
 if you pull too much, the risk of gap is more towards the headlight and front fender meet.
 
I had that and had to correct it.
 
on another note, I hade diples or any kind of waves....so just happer and pull like a maniac to where it doesnt rub....then take it to your body man for final contouring.
