Teasers...WTF the point? STOP IT!

Just show it.   There isn't much to comment about looking at a box or looking at the width of a rim.    Just show the damn thing so we can actually have something to comment about.

Keeps people interested. Often you run into a point where you have parts but can't do anything with them.

So rather than post nothing, you post something.

People who keep secrets do it to generate excitement, which keeps it fun too. To a point.

It's a trend that will come and go. People will get tired of it, quit it, then when it gets 'forgotten' it'll pop back up again. Just don't pop into teaser threads, and you won't be disappointed by it.

I can't help it...when I hear the word "Tease"  I feel  like if I click on it I will get a knock on the door by a stripper named Destiny who wants to give me a lap dance all night WITHOUT a bouncer watching my hands and eventually leading me getting kicked out.

teasers are so freakin lame. it's one thing to [I]show[/I] a new wheel/body kit/etc. you just bought, but the sides of wheels and cardboard boxes is f**kin homo. if you want it to be a secret then keep it a secret, if you want to show off your new toy then show it off. all this other bs is basically "hey, look at me! i'm doing something but i don't want you to know what it is". do f**kin work, [I]then[/I] show it off.

honestly...i would open all the boxes because companies have made mistakes and put the wrong rims or color or even size other then what the sticker says on the box...also check to see if all caps and valve stems are all there.

Some people are just really excitted and they have no one to tell.  I do agree though, if your going to post the side of a wheel or a box then don't post at all.  I like to post build up threads rather then teasers but when I do post teasers, its to throw people way off as a joke.  This was my favorite

Honestly though..just post stuff, not everyone builds things at the same pace and not everyone has the means to pop out projects every 5 minutes.  So don't sweat it.

I don't care if someone posts a teaser... as long as they expose full details within a week... cause it's fun seeing different people's perception to the smae picture... that's just me...
