Jap translation for damper adj Insurance coilies

Hey all,
 
was hoping someone would either know off the top of their head or can translate the below diagram for me for which way is hard and soft on my damper adjust. i could go for a drive and wind it all one way and see how it goes and then wind it the other etc but my car's boxed in the garage atm!
 
I have insurance group coilovers, and am assuming that clockwise/right is Hard and anticlockwise/left is soft? just like a bolt, right tight left loose haha
 
heres the pic i scanned from my 8 page totally uselss cause its all in Japanese owners manual! i just want to stiffen them up a couple of clicks..

oh and the word "Jap" is sometimes seen as not a good thing to say but you're an aussie so might be abit different there.

i dont have the Japanese Language Pack on my computer anymore, it shat itself and we got it back with XP on it and no CD... so my computer doesnt render Japanese characters it just comes up with rectanglular boxes on the screen..!

Blitz - yeh mate people say Jap here all the time and it isnt meant to be derogitory, perhaps it started that way with the War and what not, but nowadays its not at all a bad thing. Sorry if that offended anyone, i was just trying to get as much info as i could in the topic title to be honest, didnt think about it!

Yes, it is derogatory here too. But nobody realises it so they just keep saying it.
 
Japanese people (specifically older ones) are offended by it.
 
Funny all the Japanese importers etc with JAP in the name, dont realise how offensive they are being

Oh and yes, left for soft, right for hard (when looking from the top)

yes clockwise for tight, counter-clockwise for loose.

Yokota - well said, i noticed it as soon as i turned them :/ i just wanted to be sure cause its a pain pulling the trim clips in the boot to get at the adjusters..
 
charley - i got them new off a Yahoo Japan vendor thru an ex-Aussie in japan who does exporting of bits out to Australia/the world. 
 
and again sorry all for the JAP thing, im keen to travel to Japan in the next year or so so i'm glad i got wise to that haha
