weighing my options

I am in the process of researching my options for my next vehicle. Here is what I have narrowed it down to:
2003 Lexus GS300-classic
2003 Infiniti M45-unique
1998 Jaguar XJ8-gangster
Each is very different from the others, but I love each of them. I need help developing a list of pros and cons to help me with my decision.

Off that list, I'd go with the XJ.

y34 gets my vote. jag is a close second if you have the resources to do it right. since it's not a platform you really need to go the extra mile to make it have a definitive vip presence. i mean, if you're into labels...

I love the LS430 but it is out of my league.
My 1st choice was the Y34, but I am concerned with the oil consumption issue that the 03 model has. The fact that I have never seen one fixed up in person, less than a handfull online, and very few stock ones on the road put it at the top of my list. The fact that it was only in production in the US for 2 years makes it exclusive and unique.
The reason I say that the GS is classic is the reason I love it and hate it at the same time. The styling of this car is timeless and the aftermarket support is the best of my options. But the GS has been done to death!
The jag is really a status car to me. Most people consider the Jag as high end. I found this one for the price of a civic which means I will have time to get a jump on modding this car quickest. I have 2 concerns here. One is the aftermarket support. I don't know jack about jags and have no idea where to start as far as aero parts and things of that nature. I would definately be stalking ElPrez if I go for the Jag.
The other concern I have with the Jag is the cost of maintanence. Same reason I have no interest in owning a Benz or BMW... I may be able to buy the car, but can I really afford it(long-term) on a salary of around $40K?

the m45 would be a great choice...so unique and when it's done up right, it looks amazing most of the time

but at the same time, you can't go wrong with the GS. it's a timeless car but still...m45 would be a sick choice

Haha, stalkers are ok, as long as it's for questions only..haha. No stake-outs!

As far as the price..well, the condition varies there. Don't just find the cheapest one. No matter what you do buy it and make it mechanically and electrically sound FIRST..before starting mods for aesthetics. As for the parts? That is where the cheap price tag ends...almost all parts for them are NOT cheap. As for the maintenance, well, you said XJ8, so that would basically be the AJ26 motors which were built by Jaguar, not Ford (back in 1990 funny enough and first used in 96' on the XK). The Nikasil linings, where the pistons live, is the only real problem with those motors...but a big enough one to hurt sales. There's all sorts of threads about it on the jag forums. So it's really up to you on that one. That's why I prefer the inline 6 engines...but with the double bulkhead on the X308's that isn't really an option as the IL6's are longer.

^this man knows his Jags! LOL
I didn't actually go out hunting for the cheapest one, but the one that i stumbled upon happened to be the cheapest of my prospects. It has less than 50K on the odometer and, as i would assume with most Jags, both previous owners were adults. Again, this was not something I ever though of until i found this one...
I am pretty much set on the M45 and if all goes well, I should be in one by the end of the month!
