i like it ... not sure if i like the bright blue but it looks very nice I have always liked that gen 240 and you've done a good job biulding it up

This is my type of kit for the 240. Although I think the white with the black top makes it stand out more. =)

Yes I did buy the car from Gleb in WA......
I flew out there and bought it and drove it from WA back to AZ. The biggest mistake I've ever made......the car broke down on me at least 8 times..... :/
I mainly bought the car for the wheels and Bn Sports Kit. 

As soon as I saved enough $$$$$.....I sold the POS Chassis and bought another 240sx to put the kit and wheels on and then painted it blue. :)

It depends on if I can get my current rears, 19 x 11 to fit my fronts.....or ShaneC's 19 x 10 might fit better.
The leftover set, I am going to try to fit on another car....but chances are that they will be too aggressive. 

If I do put these up for sale, ShaneC will have 1st dibs on them because he did me a favor and sold me his wheels that I've been waiting for.....for months.....lol.

Your 19x11s got -18 offset so that means they will stick out 6mm more than your new 19x10s so if you can't fit them in front you have a little more room to play with your new wheels it't not much but it's somthing but can't wait how they will look.

Yeah....I've already tried test fitting the 19x11s in the front. I will need a small spacer to clear my brake calipers. But I am curious to see how the 19x10s will fit.....Ill be finding out as soon as I get the wheels.

I'm lovin that BN Sports kit your car is sexy as hell. I would rock the shit out that car.

UPDATE
I got the chance to test fit the 19x12s -25 in the rear.....just a lil more neg camber and another wheel alignment and the rears will be good to go with a 275-30-19 stretched on it. =)

Hopefully sometime next week Ill get the chance to test fit the 19x11s -28 up front. Thatll be more of a challenge....but we'll see. 

Ill keep this thread updated, but I will tell you up front that it is gonna take some time.

Soon enough.....I didnt get the chance to install my fronts yet because one of the tires had a piece of rubber missing so it wouldnt hold air....lol. The shop will have another tire in tmw and installed, so I hope to get my fronts on by WED. and maybe a mini shoot of my car sometime this weekend.

I ended up putting your old 19x11s up front...stretched on a 245-35.
ShaneC's 19x12s were put in the back....stretched on a 275-30.

I now have a set of 19x10s with a -18 and -25 for sale on other forums. I cant post in the classifieds on this site quite yet.

No spacer  in the rears.....the 19x12s were a low disc wheel that fit just right. I just need to camber it a little more.

If I have the funds.....I would like to do an LS1 swap...but chances are that I will go with a s14 front clip and swap the turbo for a gt2871r. :dance:

Have you thought about an RB25? The swap is fairly direct as the s14 and r33 are very, very similar cars. If you want to be a bit more extreme and do an odd swap I'd go with a 1.5J (as much as I love the LS1, they just aren't cost efficient). Just some suggestions, good luck with it brother.

The RB swap would also be a Sik swap.....however I hear that parts for the rb is not readily available and must be ordered. I am currently looking into what the total price is gonna run me to do this swap. This is a more realistic swap.....but the S14 front clip is looking best for me...as of right now.

dude... I am in Tennessee and we have plenty of RB parts available... so I dont see parts being a problem

^^^Thats what I've been hearing from other ppl....that RB parts are becoming more and more available. I guess it'll depend on how much I want to spend on the motor and how much power I plan to make. 

I am waiting for my body guy to spray and install my c-west lip on the trunk. I will post pics of it when he finishes......however, it will take some time.

The SR may be more commonly seen here, but its almost as easy to get parts for an RB. And its [I]easy[/I] to get parts for the SR. The RB25 being a far superior engine weight aside would make it an obvious choice for myself, and many others. But its your decision. SR would be the easiest and cheapest, they just dont drive so great.

I just gotta do some more research my self....however I am leaning more towards the RB swap. :)

i think the RB would give smoother power and that might be a more comfortable drive everyday.. but youre right about the weight.. ive never thought about that in a 240sx-RB swap....

The weight would come into play if you didnt compensate for it. But how many great handleing rear drive i6 platforms are out there? LOTS. 
 
Bigger brakes, wider tires, pushing the engine back by modifying the firewall / mounts (lots of work, but well worth it) are all things to aid with the weight distribution.

IMHO the RB20 is not a better choice when you weigh it all out.  now if your going RB25 or even doing a RH drive swap to fit an RB26, that is a different story. The RB20 is an old motor too and is only mildly better than an SR but the custom work and the parts etc make it a bigger pain for a  driver. 

The LS1 is an easy and cost efficient swap. motor mounts are a pain, but no biggie.   Parts can be found at just about every swap meet you will ever attend.  I am friends with the guy who owned XAT racing and they did a bunch ( I believe a half dozen or more)of LS1 swaps in 240's.  Mike Peters drifts his LS1 s13 all the time.  Yes stuff breaks, but all drift cars do.

Thanks for all the comments guys.....I've been soo busy with school, so the 240 has been sitting in the garage.   In addition, one of my Flex damper's was blown, so I've already pulled all four out and have shipped them to Tein to get them all serviced. It'll be about a 4-6 week turn around time. :/

gs is nice for the minimal exterior work. widebody silvia is on a different level though.
