9.5/10.5" Tire Stretch recomendations?

Wasup fellas,

I m currently in the middle getting custom step lip DPE s20s made (already ordered) for my wide body accord. Anyways due to the economy and I guess people not ordering many custom wheels from places like DPE they are limited on what parts they have so I m going to prob have to change my width from 10 to 10.5 and 9 to 9.5. I was going to run 225/35 for the 9" fronts and 235/35 for the 10" back. Now if I move up to 9.5 and 10.5 can I still rock those same sizes? My preference is to not have the lip ring out on some super VIP ish, I want a nice stretch for the purpose of clearing my fenders when I drop the car w the air runner. The tires I was planning on getting were Dunlop Sport Maxx which from the tire thread looks like they run true. If possible that anyone is running 225 on a 9-9.5 inch wheel or 235 on a 10-10.5 inch wheel please post pics

a 245 on the rear would be better

Heres 235/35/19 on a 10width. 235 on a 10.5 is a pretty mean stretch

put the 235s on the front and get new tires for the rear.

so far looks like going wide is better, I ma wait until some more people give their .2s

I assume they are 19"?   I'd say 235/35/19 and 245/35/19 would be nice.  I found 225 on 9.5 really small on my SC400.  It meant more wheel gap so I had to make the car even lower.  Check the stickied tire thread above.

Vincent thanks for posting the picture with specs but the tire will help because every tire will fit differently in the same size.  Looks like Nankang?

That's a good size. Vincent's tire looks like Falken FK452. I don't recommend those. They run big and will bubble easily. Nankang runs small and are cheaper too. Since the Nankangs run small, you might be able to run one size bigger and it'll have the same stretch as the smaller FK452. Hope that makes sense.

from my experience they bubble easily with stretch tires. ive gone through a few sets myself, and have since refused to go back to fk452's.

I'm running nankang NSII. I dont like Falkens, too difficult to run stretch with those tires. And yes nankangs run a bit small

my FK's seem fine to me..havent had a problem YET..ill probably end up gettin a cheaper set next tho..cant afford 6-700 for tires again
