Anything but tein........you will be a little disappointing if you want to go low
wat would be good then?
wat would be good then?
What car do you have?
98 gs300
tein flex is the way to go. you could dump the shit out of'em. they ride pretty comfy also. best set of coilovers ive owned IMO
I'd try out Stance's offering
tein's are shiet. and not in a good way!
^^^why do you think so?
^ them on my Z and I cracked the front driver side fender three times because they were too soft @ the stiffest setting. Just my opinion if you're going to riding slammed or as slammed as the coilovers will allow.
I have BC-Racing coilovers on my GS and it's fine. You should look into JIC, Megan, HKS, and K-Sport. I believe all of them are fully adjustable as is mine. I hope this helps.
i believe it all depends on what your price range is.....how much do u want to spend?
BC coilovers are pretty cool. get the custom spring rates you want and price is totally reasonable.
Tein is garbage if you want to go low. If you go low with Tein there is no suspension travel. and you'll blow out the shocks.
^^x2.. try stance/hks/jic
i decided 2 go wit da hks. thanx guys
ive been hearing JIC are pretty good.
how much for bc coils? and how much customization can u get? looking into getting new suspension asap
My friend was able to get me a set of BC Racing coilovers for a stack out the door. They're 30-way damp and fully-adjustable. Jon Lipson is his name and he works at Titan Motorsports. 407-277-8423 edit: I never chose specific springs. You may want to get into contact with BC Racing themselves at: http://www.bcracing-na.com/
i hear JIC and HKS is best for our cars. let me know how you personal end up liking the HKS setup. im leaning more towards JIC but not fully stuck on them yet. i want to combine them with UAS for my 93LS4
My 94 gs300 came from japan with JIC's (so im not sure which model or specs). They do go plenty low, but imo they are too soft to be riding low. The wheels smash the inside of the gaurds (metal, plastic removed long ago) even at a moderate height with more than 1 person in the car.
