id rock these so hard.
when i bought my first set of 2/3 piece wheels, they were the work vs-xx, and barely anyone had them in gold at the time or those wheels, and purchased the gold, because the pics looked like the chrome/shiny gold, but nope, they were painted gold. how disappointed i was when i first saw them.

looks cool but I think this is a total show car setup...a garage queen car.   No way would I drive this on the streets.   I'd look like a fool.   Might as well wear 30 different gold chains with a giant 100mm watch with diamonds on the bezel wearing baggy warmups from Adidas or Puma with a Kangol hat with 7 different rings 2 on each pinky.   Just abit tacky....

edit = looking at the link, once you lowered that car a bit more those wheels would be sunk, at least up back, youd need to get some gold plated spacers for em ;)

those on my car would be the shit. Burgundy and gold with the factory gold pinstripe and gold brembos. I need to look in to those.

I laughed at the part in that article about protecting them from thieves and vandals, pretty easy to spot these ones if they got stolen and its not like you can melt them down for the gold. I figure they were being factious but for real gold plating wheels is like ~$200-$300. I amazed we don't see it more often. Then again that is maybe a good thing. I those look good to me. I don't know if I could roll around on solid gold wheels though...
