Urmyhero4now(Ron)'s G50 Q45 last photoshoot

So its come to that time guys. I just finished my q45 about two weeks ago and took it out for a spin yesterday for a photoshoot with my buddy John Mai( [URL="http://www.lafontaineinc.com"]www.lafontaineinc.com[/URL] ). During the transportation of the vehicle from my house to the two spots. My transmission went out. There is plenty of things wrong with the motor and tranny with this car. And it sucks but im just glad to have finally finished it and got a photo with one of my cars before i have to part with it.
 
It hurt me yesterday. You can see in the photo of me standing in front of my car. At that point i already knew my car was shot.
 
It was a good run. So on February 22nd, 2009 this car has been retired and will never be seen again past these photos that i hope help the car last over the net. Hopefully people can get inspiration from the car. I built this thing from the ground up. Im sure some of the OG's on the forum would be able to tell you how far this car has came.
 
The only time this car ever hit the shop was to get the paint sprayed.
 
First and foremost i want to thank my lady Suzie(Labeaumonde). If it was not for this girl installing my front upper control arms and wheels while i was gone running around, this car would have never got done.
 
It should be super easy for guys to setup q's now with what ive done i hope.

car is sick.. is the price to fix the motor too much for the reason why u parting it out?

yea. ive already put alot of money into this car and dont want to put another 2-3k into a motor and tranny. it still runs just the tranny wont come out of gear. I may just let the whole car go as is if someone wanted to take it.

Damn.  Very nice execution.  Sorry to hear about the motor/tranny.  Its such a nice setup perhaps someone will do a an RB or other swap on it and enjoy it.

thanks everyone. Yea im done with the car. I have to start building up my house right now so i dont even have time to tear it down at the moment. But as soon as i can i will let people know if they want to pick some stuff up.

I doubt i would have placed anything. Not alot of people appreciate a simple setup at any shows now a days. my car was nothing special. just some wheels and suspension.

Only people who are true enthusiasts would understand a clean setup(and 99% of the time they are not judges.

But fate was tellin me it was time, so that b*tch sent a drunk driver to total mycar out LOL!...

Are your 240sx RUCAs a half moon shape or a circle around the strut?  I have aftermarket 240sx RUCAs and mine are half moon, but after about 6 months the weight of the car bent them so much they created about -9* camber and were rubbing on my coilovers.  Just keep an eye on them, I think 300zx ones that are a circular shape are the safest.

But anyway that looks awesome man, you're really kicking my ass that I didn't get a President rear end when I had the chance.

Thanks man. Hey that means alot to me. Knowing others look at something that ive put alot of time and work into, and they can appreciate it. And the fact that my lady did hella work on the car with me makes it all worth it.
 
 
With parting the car out. At the moment the car is gonna sit in the garage covered until i can decide what im going to do with it.
 
Im actually still waiting on parts to come in from japan.
 
I know one thing i do want to get rid of though is the air suspension. anyone want to shoot me offers? im trying to get like 2k ish..maybe less if your ricky or damicci :biggthumpup:

If you really don't want to do it though, your president trunk/lights will find a good home on another DJ2 G50!  Mine.  Seriously if you decide to part it out, I'll buy those parts.

was the first car i had actually finished 100% the way i wanted. 
 
Well see in the next few months. Like i said. Other priorities came up 
and need to be taken care of. Thankyou all for the compliments though.

Clean car and damn down here in lousisna i can go into LKQ and get you a trans good trans for about $75 i just have to pull it myself.   I don't mind doing it for you, I could get the TB for myself anyway.

There's a Nissan/Infiniti specific junkyard in Sacramento I've heard of.  You may wanna try there first.  They may offer a better warranty than your local pick-n-pull.

thanks man. i appreciate it. Im really lookin for a local place i can trust that imports low mileage motors and trannys so if something is wrong with it i dont lose money on shipping.

Venus in Sac ... like i let ya know on the phone ... we have purchased over 20 motors for them .. for swaps mostly ,
