z33 Brakes on y34??

Ya, if I could get a fairly solid guestimate that would be awesome.  More than happy to tweak with them on my own, but not if theres no hope.  Just need to know if jumping on some wheels i found(not full face) is what I want to do...

Well, there wasn't any Y34's at the dealer today. There were 2 there last friday:signdammit:...but I spoke with 3 Infiniti mechanics and they all said that the calipers should bolt up with the same space and size as the G35 Brembo's etc etc.  We measured the F50 that was there and they matched up.  The Y34 is more or less the same car in terms of those components.  If you wanted to use the 300Z/Skyline set ups you would have top do the same thing as Y33 guys and drill out the holes as there is a different size bolt to mount them...


Now, I do not know if the Y34 has a different size rotors etc...so you would have to find out that info!  G/L

So I can run g35 brembos just the same as z33 brakes??

are the z33 brakes bigger and I was thinking about looking into infinitiG37 brakes or 370 brakes and see if they might fit the F50 any one know

From what I have been told by the Infiniti Mechanics, the Z33 Brembo Calipers  should just bolt up  but you will have to check and see when it comes to the different rotor sizes for the different cars.  G/L

how much does a set cost?

well, it depends on what you mean?  dealer price?  or used on forums?  I don't know for sure.  I was looking at doing the new FX brakes on mine until I went with Y32 coilovers.  now I'm doing Skyline brakes since they bolt right up to the smaller mounting holes of the Y32 coils.

Y34 =2003 -2004  Z33 and G35 Coupe Brembos only do not try the 2005+ they will not fit. Also the best bet is [url]www.car-part.com[/url] for good used calipers from a track model Z or a G35 6speed. The new brakes are different and used a slightly different mounting point meaning the will not fit. EVO brembos are an exact replica of G and Z Brembos just need a tiny 2 mm washer betwee caliper and spindle.

Awesomesauce!! Need to order some new wheels and get on suspension first, but my front drivers rotor came warped and I are not happy about it...
