Please keep racism out of this. Nothing i hate more then racism. My Brother, Father and I have been dis-owned by my fathers side because they do not believe in mixing races. To be completely honest, I am fine with that. I dont want to be associated with racists, and I definatly dont want a thread I started being used as an outlet for your backwards ideals. And obviosly we all have an apreciation for a Japanese sub-culture, so your racist remarks on a forum like this would just be flat out moronic.

I'm curious as to see the diversity of this website. I live in the Toronto area, which is the most multi-cultural area in canada. Roughly 50% of Toronto's population were not born in Canada . I love it, its so interesting learning about my freinds different heritages, and even picking up a few words in another language. Plus its always fun to go to different restaraunts, trying food from around the world. My favourite foods would have to be curried goat, jerked chicken, sushi, and butter chicken.

I am Irish and Spanish, my dad is 100% Irish, and my mom is half Irish, and half Basque. so i work out to be 75% Irish, and 25% spanish. My mother's side came to Canada as Irish slaves, and Spanish immagrants. My Irish routes from my father's Immegrated to the U.S to escape the English. A lot still live in the Boston area, but my grandparents migrated north to Nova Scotia just before my dad was born.

Feel free to share a little about your Roots. Also, i did a search and got nothing. If this has been covered, please delete.

My parents immigrated from the Dominican Republic in the late 1960's during the Revolution against a Dictatorship... they settled in Upper Westside of Manhattan, New York... 
 
So I'm first generation in this country... I guess I'm catagorized as Spanish/Hispanic... With a nationality of Dominican... I don't think that there's a more diverse city than NYC...

I would edit the poll, but i cant seem to figure out how to do that. Quite the diversity so far. I'm really suprised with the results, in my area most of the people with luxurious cars are middle eastern or white. I definatly wasnt expecting 0 for middle eastern or African American.

Im 50%Italian and 50%Irish.  Born and raised in SoCal.  My greatgrandfather came over from Italy to fight for the US in WWI.  Not sure when my Irish side came over though.

My mom was French Canadian, d'Auteuil & Trudeau. If you go further back, there's Sottish 'Johnson' clan. One of my uncles changed his last name to Johnson as a link to that heritage.

My dad came from Sierra Leone.

I'm pretty much 50/50 physically. I could pass for Moroccan.

On my dad's side I can link my family back to the 1700's emigrating from Ireland. That's as far as I know for that half. 

On my mother's side, we've got Canadian, Spanish, Irish...

On my fathers side, my grandmother was full blood Choctaw native and my grandfather is a 2nd generation Irish immigrant.  As for my mothers side, they are Cherokee and Dutch.  I claim Native American any time the option is given.
