My intro into VIP status

Been browsing around for awhile, but never posted. I'm originally part of the midengine club :naughty:, and now I'm finally VIP status :dance:. A little background if anybody is interested. I'm from the MR2 scene, and my MR2's seems to be an endless project that seems to be never complete, a big money pit. So I finally got my UFC30 not too long ago as my new daily to replace my Honduh daily. I can't ride around stock so it's already sitting on some Tein CS and Work rims.

I'm still deciding on if I should stay with coils or go air. I'm already debating on getting a new set of rims with a more aggressive offset and wider lip. Only problem is I can't afford to do it with so many projects going on. I'm not planning to go too crazy with mods on my UFC30 since I've already spent way too much on my MR2's (more than the UFC30 itself :pat:). I'm just gonna "try" to keep it mildly modded and reliable. That's the plan at least.

I can still go little lower on coils. Only reason I'd get air is for the convenience of clearance over stuff and dump it again, other wise, I'm happy with coils. I'd love to get more aggressive rims, but I gotta finish both my MR2's first before I start buying more expensive stuff. Either that or the unthinkable (sell one of the MR2's :break:and the millions of extra parts).

Are you on MR2OC or MR2board also, sn on both are TRD MR2 DRGN. I know monopolizedinc is.

the mr2 is a money pit ?  well your new car will be if you start buying hella parts . 

I have looked at all that was spend on the my gs 35k ish deep in the car and 4th set of wheels and 3rd suspension + the price of the car ..

Haha, I'm trying to keep the LS from being a money pit. I know all too well about money pits.
You probably woundn't believe how much I've dumped into my MR2's, but here's a rough idea of how crazy I've gotten:
2 MR2's both turbo's
widebody, aeroware
3 set's of rims (works, racing harts)
4 sets of exhaust (Apexi, HKS, Greddy, GF Depature II PRO)
(yes, I actually have more exhaust, wheels, and other parts then MR2's)
Stroked, fully built bottom ends
stock head, cammed
full race head
KU/JUN intake mani x2
TB x2

and thats only the main stuff. Sad part is I've hardly driven them in all the years I've owned them, always breaking something pushing it and then wanting more.

Right now, I doubt, the LS will come close to matching the hole caused by the total of both the MR2's have created and will continue to create.


Oh yeah, I've seen pics of Racinstylez black LS with same rims. Didn't mean to copy on purpose. I've always liked that style of rim. I loved the Lowenhart EuroBlocks (?, similar to ones that came on M series, pentagon holes between the spokes) when they first came out (got a set of know offs back then) and some other ones somewhat similar to this design (kinda like on the lambos, best I can describe is looks like five circular holes between the spokes?). I was never really into the big face/dish rims, but there are a couple that I do like.
Funny thing is there were a couple things I though about doing that when I did some searching, I saw RacinStylez already did to his car (04+ tails and same/similar kit). Don't worry, I'm not going to do it though, too much stuff to replace for tails, and found out the kits are usually a horrible fit. I don't intentionally copy somebody else, I just like to do what I like, and if it happens to end up looking similar to somebody elses :shrug:, I'm appoligizing in advance.

yeh im on mr2oc and mr2.com,im a total newbie though.im "BIGGZ" on there but i dont go on much anymore.i owned a MR2 for 6 days but had to sell it.man i loved how the car feels,it felt soo perfect!i know in the future i[U] will[/U] get into another one.heres a few pics.

yup,that it is.but im saying good bye to it tomorrow.its also gonna be sold.

Oh man, your putting tears in my eyes. Selling a deuce then the AE86. Do what you must though. It's gonna be a sad day tomorrow.

nice duece! i had one also....that white duce looks like one of the old school pJ bonafacio projects.

Similar, but (no offense Biggz) PJ's are a lot cleaner and smoother. I doubt that is the old PJ car, his cars were real works of art.
