94 LS400 the beginning of greatness

to set the scene:

I have been following VIP for awhile now and from when I first saw it I was in love. All I have had to go off of was the internets and I happened to stumble across here and have found a ton of great info awesome site you guys have going here

As of now I plan to go for a very traditional style since there are no VIP cars here in the hick state of Idaho. I want to make sure that if I have the first VIP car that I am representing it to it's true form. Only plans for exterior is to get more drop, AME shallen LX wheels(until I change my mind), and fresh new paint will be the last upgrade for exterior.

I plan to put most of my time into the interior as I believe it needs lots of work to be as nice as I want it. Initial plans for now are to just fix all of the little issues the car has such as power mirrors not working. Oh and to get a system in it I have to have a good sound system!

As she sits right now is lowered on tanabe springs with some newer stock wheels and tinted windows. It came with some 19" lowenhart LD-1's that I am looking to sell... anyone?? hah

More pics will come once weather is good as I take lots of photos =)

thanks for all of the kind words guys!

it may look clean in those pictures but it actually needs quite a bit of work to get it as clean as it should be. It's definitely a good start though. I plan on taking some close ups of all the trouble areas and some pics of the interior.

Is anyone else on here running the tanabe drop springs with some good wheels? I am contemplating on if I should wait to get wheels after I get coils. If anyone has pics please post.

coils or air is the only answer for your lowering needs imo, with springs youll just want more...

I plan on getting coils and just so you know I bought the car as is. I am just trying to decide if I should buy some wheels and put them on with just my lowering springs then buy coils. If it looks like horse sh*t then I will just wait and do them together though.

It reminds me of our previous LS – the stance and all (It had Eibachs and Tokicos). Unfortunately, I don’t have any pictures at present but it was a great car. It looks like you are off to a good start.
