60s lincoln

anywhere know a good source for one?
body needs to be straight, running, no rust, paint isnt a big deal, interior isnt a huge deal, just no dash cracks, and locks and wipers working.

these have been blown up for a long time now. one of the hottest classics imo. personally i would go for a drop off the bat cause the first time you pull a hard top up next to a convertible you'll be sick.

I know a guy here with a white Conti.

He does drive it, which means it's safetied, which should mean no holes in the floor.

Ha, that's crazy... I've been wanting one of these for a while now and got my eyes on one. Kinda sucks cuz its not one the same island as I am... best years (in my opinion) are 66-67... but 68-69 look almost the same (just like before m/c and after m/c)... 60-65 looks aight, I just don't really dig the front ends....

Last I checked, craigslist sf bay area, and washington state had quite a few, vegas had some... also, there's a company, mobsteel, that specializes in only 60-69 continentals. They make the best bag kit for this cars... hope you're able to find one for the price you wanna spend GL....

I was looking and test driving a bunch of 58-61 Lincolns about 4years ago and in the 8 months I was trying to find one I liked the prices went UP pretty significantly because Snoop had one in his video and the 7up guys had one also. I already have the full plans of everything I will do to it once I get it.

Everyone likes the drop top, but I definately want a hard top. triple black with black and white leather interior and black piping. Of course you already know that you can fit almost anything under that hood too. When I was looking, they were selling one from JFK's presidential fleet that was still bullet proof and etc etc. anyway, one day I will own preferably a late 50's early 60's.

Here is one

these are what I find now and I am not paying that right now.

I know right! thats what I mean. When I was looking, I could get a really nice one for about 7-8G and ones that needed some work for about 4-5G. of course you can always find rough ones for less. G/L.

Contis look just fine bagged on stock dog dishes that can't be bigger than 16s or 17s, so I wouldn't go ahead and discredit a set of 18s with the proper width and offset.
