shoulda saved all that money he spent on 6 sets of ls600 projectors and bought a carlsson aigner.

^Do you know how many times I heard things like that?  Its not the same lol.  Its a hobby, its not about buying a nice car at this point.  Its about having something unique that no one has that reflects your personality and dedication to the car game.
 
I love what black pearl is doing.  That LS430 made me leave my seat for a good 3 minutes the first time I seen it because that was just too much for me to handle all at once.  Not so much that I am a fan of everything he did, I just admire the ballerness of the ride.  How many people can say, "my headlights and fogs cost more then your complete build."  He is on his 4th or 5th complete make over of the car.  He is showing us that he is having a great time doing this and he is not a one hit wonder.  Props

you've heard it at least 3 times just from me. how is building a $50k lexus to look exactly like a $.5 mil mercedes being original? you wanna be unique, then be unique... don't copy another car, especially one that's so blatent. it's to the point where he even copied the paint lines of the s even though the ls doesn't look anything similar. theres a difference between drawing inspiration from and forgery.

i like dudes 430, and i am not feeling the chicks 400 at all i think hers looked better last year, but hey props for trying something diff

Honestly..I'm not digging it.

It looks like DUB style to me.  I don't like the direction some of them are turning in over in Japan.  The Western influence is getting to high on some of their lists...yes, the work done is GREAT...but to me it's not happening and getting off track.  I wouldn't call it a vip car.

I appreciate it but I don't like it.

The whole point was that Carlsson Aigner doesn't support Lexus so he took that paint job and blatently copied it on purpose which is unique since no one else done that to a Lexus.  The two tone trend is in full effect over there.  Might as well copy one of the most baller two tone paint jobs available.  The body lines do not line up, thats my only real problem with it.  He should of bubbled the car in the areas where the lines are to match the W221.  I still love the idea.  I am not a fan of just about any other two tone paint job thats going on in Japan though.
