the story of drama trying to find a car is too long for me to repeat so i hope you dont mind me posting a link to a thread that has all of it in there. the search was a total nightmare and the actual getting of the car required flying from houston to indianapolis and driving 16hrs back home.

nice, but why did it have to be a 99 Touring edition?

it didn't have to be. i just really like the headlights. i couldve gotten a regular q, but i'd have wanted to swap out the lights, and by then i might as well have just gotten a touring. also, this and the one in cali were the cleanest ones i found in a good price range. all the ones i looked at for sale in texas were either way over priced or looked like crap.

i'm still driving my Q everyday.  not the easiest on gas (i used to use a prius for daily drive, w/ other toys on the side)

mercer was it from a guy named salah. if so, that was that was the one i was originally going to get. it looked exactly like your pic and was in dallas area.

thanks for the compliments. i have some major fear of heights issues with it, and the wheels could use some size and fitment, but it will be all in good time. i've got some grown folks business to take care of first (house, few bills, and wife wanting a baby).
