Stingray kills 'Crocodile Hunter'

Had a feeling he was gonna die by some sort of animal. 

Yeah I found this out yesterday. I'm sure earlier in time that most of us was waiting for it to happen. My dad for sure dislikes the guy b/c of his curiosity. May he rest in peace

Yeah, this is big news here. Got some friends who were close to him and its a shock to say the least.

He did alot for the preservation of Australian wildlife, and hopefully his legacy will live on

wow, i heard some people sorta laffing about this at my work, and i thought they were just joking around about it, but I totally didnt know this really happened... thats prett crazy, but i guess in his line of work, thats a risk you sorta take.

Wow a stingray barb!!! That mustve been a painfull experience.

Pretty rare here to be stung by a ray like that, and even rarer to die from it. Apparently the footage shows Steve pull the barb out of his chest seconds before he looses conciousness.

It was stung into his heart and made a hole in his heart. There was nothing much for a doctor to do about it and stingray barb also has posinon in it.

Whats even more ridiculous is that there have been stingrays found dead with tails detached.......If he knew that was happening, Im sure he'd be quite disgusted. Says so much for the smartest animal on the planet...
